And I&rsquo;ve been using it in the wild: through Delhi metros, monsoon mishaps, and long editing sessions, to see if this thing can actually hold up.</p>

PCMark 10 returns a solid 4132, and 3DMark&rsquo;s Night Raid lands at 11,394. Not mind-blowing, but perfectly competent for a non-gaming ultrabook. <p data-start="2072" data-end="2231"><strong>Realme 15 Pro goes all in on cameras, display and AI&mdash;but can it outplay the Nord CE 5&rsquo;s speed or the Phone 3a&rsquo;s vibe? Here&rsquo;s our take after real-world testing.</strong></p>

<p>The Realme 15 Pro is the latest addition to the brand&rsquo;s popular number series, and, as always, there&rsquo;s a lot of excitement around it.</p>
<p>But it faces some tough competition from the Nord CE 5, a straight-up performance beast, and the Nothing Phone 3a a phone that oozes style.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I&rsquo;ve been using all three for a while now, and I&rsquo;ve got thoughts.</p>
<h2><strong>Performance</strong></h2>
<p>Let&rsquo;s talk performance, because on the surface, all three of these phones sound solid.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Realme 15 Pro rocks the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, the Nord CE 5 is on the Dimensity 8350 Apex and the Nothing Phone 3a, runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.</p>
<p>But, the Realme &amp; Nothing get LPDDR4X RAM, while the Nord CE 5 steps it up with LPDDR5X RAM. For storage, Realme and Nord bring UFS 3.1, whereas Nothing, sticks to UFS 2.2. Not exactly a wise choice.</p>
<p>Also, only the OnePlus supports expandable storage, and I am all for it.</p>
<p>In Antutu, the Nord CE 5 absolutely smoked the other two with a score of over 1.4 million. Realme wasn&rsquo;t bad, it scored about 1.09 million, but Nothing didn&rsquo;t even hit a million.</p>
<p>3DMark&rsquo;s Wildlife Extreme Stress test was wild. The Nord had the highest loop score of 3035, but its stability was just 33.2%. Both Realme and Nothing had a stability of over 99%, but their loop scores were way lower. In fact, Nothing&rsquo;s score was a third of what OnePlus&rsquo; score, which is insane.</p>
<p>In the CPU throttle test however, the Nothing Phone 3a impressed. It dropped to just 92% and had solid scores. Realme dropped to 89%, but had the highest peak performance. The Nord kinda fell apart here. It throttled to 69%, and had the lowest average.</p>
<p>But like I've always said, benchmarks are just numbers. Gaming tells you way more.</p>
<p>Both Realme and OnePlus support 90fps in BGMI, but OnePlus has some clever, frame-boosting tricks. In a 10-minute match, it averaged 118.4fps, dipping to just 112.5 fps for 5% lows. It also ran cooler at 37.4&deg;C.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Realme also did well, averaging 89.5 fps. But the 5% lows dropped to 86.1, and it ran warm at 40.1&deg;C.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Phone 3a supports 120fps in BGMI, but we never crossed 90. It averaged 89.8fps with max temps at 34&deg;C.</p>
<p>I mean, sure, it's stable, but what&rsquo;s the point if it can&rsquo;t deliver what it should?</p>
<p>Also, shoutout to OnePlus and Realme for including bypass charging. That&rsquo;s a lifesaver during long gaming sessions.&nbsp;</p>
<p>So if gaming&rsquo;s a big deal for you, this is pretty much a two-horse race. But what about cameras?</p>
<h2><strong>Cameras</strong></h2>
<p>Well, the Nothing Phone 3a packs a solid setup&mdash;a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP 2x telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Realme looks like it comes with three cameras, but actually, it&rsquo;s just a 50MP main with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide. On the front though, it flexes with a 50MP selfie shooter.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Nord CE 5 keeps it simple with a 50MP main and an 8MP ultrawide, and a 16MP selfie cam.</p>
<p>All three main cameras are solid, but each has its quirks. Realme usually nails shots but fumbles white balance here and there.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nothing Phone 3a sometimes underexposes in bright light, and the Nord CE 5 plays it safe&mdash;consistent, but not exciting.&nbsp;</p>
<p>That said, I&rsquo;d still pick the Phone 3a. Its colours pop, and the detail is just a bit sharper.</p>
<p>In low light Realme takes the crown. It grabs the most detail and nails exposure.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nothing tends to over-brighten, and the Nord often ends up too dark.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Ultrawide is another win for Realme &mdash;great detail, even if a bit dim. Nothing and Nord are fine, but Nord&rsquo;s output feels the flattest.</p>
<p>Video is a mixed bag. Nothing maxes out at 4K30, while the other two go up to 4K60. All three of them have pretty good stabilisation. But I&rsquo;d still go with Nothing&mdash;it looks better, and has better colours.</p>
<p>Realme nails selfies with sharp detail and solid edge detection, while the Phone 3a also holds up well. Nord&rsquo;s photos feel flat and occasionally off in colour.</p>
<p>For me, the Nothing Phone 3a is the best overall camera pick, thanks to its versatile setup. Realme comes in a close second with strong low-light and ultrawide performance.</p>
<p>Now, let's quickly take a look at the other stuff.&nbsp;</p>
<h2><strong>Design</strong></h2>
<p>The Nord CE 5 also looks great, especially in this blue finish, but still misses out on the alert slider and even the new plus key.</p>
<p>Realme 15 Pro has a mostly plastic body. Ours came in Silky Purple, which looks nice, but I don&rsquo;t like how cheap the plastic back feels. &nbsp;However, Realme does feel the lightest and slimmest in the hand.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nothing of course, has its glyph lights, but the Realme too has a cool, colour-changing pulse ring around one of the cameras to alert you about notifications.</p>
<p>You can also shake the Realme 15 Pro to launch the camera or turn on the torch &mdash; a trick borrowed from Moto phones. It&rsquo;s just as gimmicky, but I have to admit, I kind of like it.</p>
<p>Realme also wins big on durability with its IP66, 68, and 69 ratings, along with Gorilla Glass 7i on the front.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nord has IP65, and Nothing settles for IP64 with Panda Glass.&nbsp;</p>
<h2><strong>Display</strong></h2>
<p>Realme also crushes it on display&mdash;6.8-inch, 10-bit AMOLED panel, 1800 nits HBM, 6500 nits peak brightness&mdash;it has all the impressive numbers. To me, it looks brighter and better than the other two, in every way, though I am not a fan of the quad-curved panel.</p>
<p>Weirdly though, it is a 144Hz panel that only works in some system apps, not in games. Maybe a software update will fix that&hellip;</p>
<p>Now, both the Realme and Nothing come with stereo speakers, but the Nord only packs a mono set-up, which was a massive red flag for me</p>
<h2><strong>Software</strong></h2>
<p>When it comes to software, Nothing OS is clean and minimal with 3+6 years of updates, but OnePlus edges ahead with 4+6 years and a smoother OxygenOS 15 experience. Realme UI is more cluttered but loaded with AI tools like voice editing and glare removal in photos, though it only offers 2+3 years of software support.</p>
<p>OnePlus has its own AI tools, but it&rsquo;s not as stacked as Realme. So if you care about AI features, Realme easily offers the most to play with.</p>
<h2><strong>Verdict</strong></h2>
<p>Now, the big question. How do you pick one between the three&hellip;</p>
<p>If cameras and killer design are your top priorities, the Nothing Phone 3a is the one that turns heads and delivers.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Nord CE 5 is your no-nonsense workhorse; fast, tough, and reliable that just drives everything with brute force. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The OnePlus Nord 5 has big shoes to fill. Its predecessor, the Nord 4, got a lot right and set a high bar for mid-range phones.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This time, the Nord 5 packs a more powerful processor, an upgraded main camera, and a much bigger battery &mdash; all for a starting price of ₹31,999.&nbsp;</p>
<p>After using it for nearly two weeks, it&rsquo;s clear this phone nails many of the fundamentals but also leaves a few areas where OnePlus could&rsquo;ve pushed harder.</p>
<h2>OnePlus Nord 5 Design &amp; Utility</h2>
<p>Last year&rsquo;s Nord 4 was a statement piece. Its all-metal body gave it a distinct personality in a sea of glass-and-plastic midrangers. It felt bold, almost rebellious, for its price point.</p>
<p>The Nord 5, though? It doesn&rsquo;t take the same risks. OnePlus has gone for a safer formula this time: a glass back, plastic sides, and an overall design that feels&hellip; well, familiar.</p>

<p>That said, the Nord 5 nails some other fundamentals. At 211 grams, it feels balanced in the hand, the bezels are slim and uniform, and the Gorilla Glass 7i on the front adds a layer of durability. <p>Still, this panel is fantastic. Animations glide effortlessly, scrolling feels seamless, and gaming is ultra-responsive. The peak brightness has also jumped to 1,800 nits, making outdoor use completely hassle-free.</p>
<p>Watching videos on the Nord 5 is genuinely a pleasant experience. The display supports Widevine L1, so streaming in full HD on apps like Netflix is no problem. You also get HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, though Netflix doesn&rsquo;t enable HDR playback here yet. YouTube, on the other hand, fully supports HDR &mdash; and it looks fantastic.</p>
<p>Audio on the Nord 5 is decent overall. The stereo speakers are clear and handle casual viewing well. There&rsquo;s a hint of bass, but it&rsquo;s not particularly punchy, so while they&rsquo;re fine for everyday use, they won&rsquo;t blow you away with depth or richness.</p>

<p>On the wireless side, there&rsquo;s Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.4 with support for high-quality codecs like aptX HD, LDAC, and LHDC 5.0, and of course, NFC for contactless payments.&nbsp;</p>
<h2><strong>OnePlus Nord 5 Camera Performance</strong></h2>
<p>The OnePlus Nord 5 packs a pair of cameras on the back: a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS and EIS, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide with EIS.&nbsp;</p>
<p>That primary camera uses the same Sony LYT-700 sensor found on the OnePlus 13s, and it holds up surprisingly well. Even at 2x zoom, shots of subjects further away stay sharp and detailed.</p>
<p>Images from the main camera lean heavily into vivid colors and punchy contrast, with a noticeable HDR boost.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Low-light performance is solid, and the dedicated Night mode does a decent job of pulling out details in darker scenes.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The ultrawide, however, is much less impressive. It struggles with consistency &mdash; exposure and dynamic range can all feel a little all over the place.</p>
<p>Video performance is good, too. Pans feel smooth, stabilization holds up well, and for the first time on a Nord, you can shoot 4K at 60fps on both the rear and front cameras.</p>
<p>Speaking of the front camera, the 50-megapixel sensor captures detailed shots with good HDR, though it does have a tendency to slightly over-brighten faces and smooth out skin tones more than I&rsquo;d like.</p>
<h2><strong>OnePlus Nord 5 Chipset &amp; Performance</strong></h2>
<p>The Nord 5 is powered by Qualcomm&rsquo;s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a solid 4nm chip from last year. However, its closest rival, the Poco F7, packs the newer and more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 at the exact same price of ₹31,999.</p>
<p>On AnTuTu, the Nord 5 pulls a respectable 1,455,406, but the Poco F7 surges ahead with a whopping 2,054,025. In an ideal world, OnePlus should've given this phone the same firepower, but instead, it&rsquo;s playing it safe with last year&rsquo;s silicon.</p>
<p>Still, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 holds its ground surprisingly well in the real world. Day-to-day tasks feel snappy, multitasking is seamless, and even demanding games like BGMI and Call of Duty run without noticeable slowdowns.</p>
<p>What also stands out is how well the thermals are managed. Even during longer gaming sessions, the phone stays comfortably cool &mdash; no scorching-hot back panel or throttling to worry about here.</p>
<p>The Nord 5 comes with 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, paired with configurations starting at 8GB RAM and going up to 12GB RAM on the higher variants.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s fast enough for most use cases, but UFS 4.1 would&rsquo;ve been a welcome upgrade &mdash; especially since the Poco F7 offers that faster storage standard.</p>

<p>The Nord 5 ships with OxygenOS 15 on top of Android 15, and the experience feels just as fast and fluid as you&rsquo;d expect from OnePlus. However, this time, the company is leaning hard into AI &mdash; and you can feel it baked into almost every corner of the software.</p>
<p>There&rsquo;s AI Search to help you dig up whatever you need in seconds, a real-time Call Assistant with live translation, and creative tools like Reframe, Eraser, and Unblur that make quick work of photo edits. Even Google&rsquo;s Gemini is integrated, offering on-screen suggestions that actually feel helpful rather than intrusive.</p>
<p>But the feature that&rsquo;s quietly become my favourite is AI Plus Mind. With a simple three-finger swipe, it captures whatever&rsquo;s on your screen and stashes it in a central hub. It&rsquo;s almost like having a second brain for organizing random stuff I come across daily &mdash; and I didn&rsquo;t realize how much I&rsquo;d use it until I started.</p>
<h2><strong>OnePlus Nord 5 Battery &amp; Charging</strong></h2>
<p>The Nord 5&rsquo;s 6,800mAh battery is a beast. With moderate use, it easily sails through two full days, and even on heavy gaming or binge-watching sprees, I&rsquo;d still wrap up the day with plenty of charge left.</p>
<p>Topping it up is just as painless. The bundled 80W SUPERVOOC charger takes the phone from nearly dead to full in under an hour. OnePlus has also added a Battery Health Engine to help preserve long-term battery life, and a Bypass Charging mode for gaming that powers the phone directly, keeping heat under control and reducing battery stress.</p>

<p>The OnePlus Nord 5 doesn&rsquo;t try to reinvent the midrange formula, and maybe that&rsquo;s fine. It&rsquo;s fast, delivers a vibrant display, and has excellent battery life.</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s not without flaws, though. The lack of an official IP rating feels like a missed opportunity. The design isn&rsquo;t as bold as last year&rsquo;s Nord 4, and while the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 holds its own, there are rivals in this price range that offer more raw power.</p>
<p>But even with those trade-offs, the Nord 5 strikes a balance that works, and after living with it for a while, that balance is what makes it easy to recommend.</p>

Underneath, it&rsquo;s the same hardware we saw when the phone first launched in India back in December, but the refreshed look, paired with Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out of the box &mdash; gives it a bit of extra polish.</p>
<p>Xiaomi sent over this new variant, and we couldn&rsquo;t resist taking it for a spin. We&rsquo;d already reviewed the standard Pro model, but this is our first proper chance to see what the Pro+ has to offer. And as it turns out, there&rsquo;s more to like here than just a fancy paint job.</p>

<p>There&rsquo;s also a pleasing thickness to the frame that gives you something solid to grip, which isn&rsquo;t always the case with phones in this segment.</p>
<p>Around the back, the camera island takes on a squarish profile that actually complements the design instead of feeling tacked on. Xiaomi has been guilty of overcomplicating its camera modules in the past, so it&rsquo;s refreshing to see something this clean and well-integrated.</p>
<p>If you&rsquo;re feeling adventurous, there&rsquo;s the Phantom Purple with its vegan leather back &mdash; bold, grippy, and different. But for those who prefer the timelessness of glass, champagne gold might be the sweet spot.</p>
<p>Durability is another area where the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ punches above its weight. You get Gorilla Glass 7i on the back for scratch resistance and the more premium Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front to handle those accidental drops better.</p>

In real-world testing, though, we saw it max out closer to 1,300 nits &mdash; still very bright and perfectly fine even under harsh sunlight, but you&rsquo;ll probably only hit that headline number in very specific scenarios.</p>
<p>Unlocking the phone is handled by an in-display fingerprint scanner that feels quick and reliable. No missed reads, no hesitation &mdash; just tap and go. Streaming is where the screen really shines.&nbsp;</p>

This is the kind of machine you can toss in a backpack without a second thought about whether it&rsquo;ll make it out alive. &nbsp;</p>
<p>But don&rsquo;t mistake its ruggedness for brute force alone. This year&rsquo;s TUF F16 packs serious brains and brawn: Intel&rsquo;s i7-14650HX, an RTX 5070 GPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a vibrant 165Hz 2.5K display.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The base model starts at ₹1,44,990, but the fully loaded unit I tested will set you back ₹1,79,990 &mdash; a price that edges dangerously close to some of Asus&rsquo;s sleeker premium offerings. So the question is: is this a true do-it-all machine for gamers, creators, and even office warriors, or is it simply a rugged gaming laptop wearing too many hats?</p>
<h2><strong>Asus TUF Gaming F16 Design &amp; Utility</strong></h2>
<p>The F16's design sticks to the same playbook we&rsquo;ve seen from the TUF series: big, rugged, and a sense that this machine could double as body armour in an apocalypse. The body is mostly plastic, but the CNC-machined aluminium lid adds a bit of contrast to an otherwise bold and functional design. <p>Brightness tops out at 400 nits, which is decent for indoor use and just about passable in bright cafes if you crank it up. There&rsquo;s also an anti-glare coating that does a good job fending off reflections.</p>
<p>Colour output is solid. With 100% sRGB coverage, it&rsquo;s not just good for games and Netflix binges &mdash; it&rsquo;s serviceable for creative work like color grading and video editing too. It won&rsquo;t compete with a dedicated pro-level display, but as an all-rounder, it&rsquo;s versatile enough for most workflows.</p>
<p>Backing this display is a dual-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. Sound quality is fine, but it doesn&rsquo;t really pack a punch in terms of loudness or bass. It&rsquo;s serviceable for casual use, but I found myself reaching for headphones pretty quickly &mdash; especially for gaming. At this price, I expected a bit more from Asus and Dolby, to be honest.</p>

Valorant soars to 350&ndash;450 FPS in Performance mode, GTA V hits an easy 100+ FPS on max settings, and The Last of Us Part II hovers at a respectable 60&ndash;70 FPS on high. <p>In the camera department, you will see a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide and 50MP telephoto. It also has a 50MP front camera.</p>
<p>From the photo samples, we can see that the colours out of the Reno 14 Pro&rsquo;s main camera are stunning. The shots have great tone and details, the colours are punchy, and the subjects jump to life.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We also see get to see that the Reno 14 handles some tricky situations, like the ones under water really well.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Ultrawide, despite being an 8MP sensor, also holds its own. Sure, the details are down a bit, but the colours, contrast etc, are pretty solid.</p>
<p>The devices also get features like AI Flash Photography, AI Style Transfer, AI Best Face, AI Recompose, AI Studio, and more.</p>
<p>You also get a 50MP selfie cam that does an incredible job. Again, the photos out of it are punchy and have great details.</p>
<p>In terms of video, the Reno 14 5G is capable of shooting 4K 60 fps from the rear as well as the back, which is a rarity at this budget.</p>
<p>Which brings us to the price. The Oppo Reno 14 5G is priced at Rs 37,999 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and Rs 39,999 for 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The top end variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage starts at Rs 42,999.</p>

<h2 dir="ltr">The OPPO Reno 14 Pro flexes quad 50MP cameras, a Velvet Glass design, and wireless charging. It&rsquo;s built for users who want standout portraits, clean software, and a polished mid-premium Android experience. But how does it fare against the OnePlus 13R?</h2>

<p>Oppo just dropped the Reno 14 Pro, aiming straight for the premium mid-range crown &mdash; and yeah, it&rsquo;s a total looker.</p>
<p>But standing in its way is the OnePlus 13R&mdash;a slightly trimmed-down flagship that still throws a solid hook.</p>
<p>One&rsquo;s built to capture the perfect portrait. The other&rsquo;s bulit for speed.&nbsp;</p>
<p>And honestly, I couldn&rsquo;t resist putting them head-to-head.&nbsp;</p>
<h2><strong>Design</strong></h2>
<p>So, let's start with the design and build. Both phones &nbsp;feel almost the same in the hand; flat metallic sides, glass backs and a good grip... but also a bit slippery because of all that glass</p>
<p>The OnePlus 13R I have here is in Nebula Noir. It&rsquo;s dark, hides fingerprints well, and feels clean. The Reno 14 Pro I tested is Pearl White, with this cool flame-like shimmer on the side.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It looks flashy, but I get the feeling most people will slap on a case.</p>
<p>Now, the camera bumps. The OnePlus has a big circular bump that got in my way when gaming or watching shows. The Reno&rsquo;s bump looks flashier but sits flush and didn&rsquo;t bother me.</p>
<p>Both phones feel light and solid. Gorilla Glass 7i covers the fronts of both. The Reno uses Velvet Glass on the back, which feels smoother and more premium than the Gorilla Glass 7i on the OnePlus.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Both phones have fast in-display fingerprint sensors and IR blasters but the OnePlus still has its handy alert slider, which in my book is one of its best features. The Reno also gets an IP 66,68 and 69 rating. The 13R though just makes do with IP65</p>
<p>So, for design and durability, I am leaning towards the Reno.</p>
<h2><strong>Display</strong></h2>
<p>Now, the Reno 14 Pro rocks a 6.83-inch OLED display, while the OnePlus 13R sticks to a slightly smaller 6.78-inch AMOLED panel.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Both support HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rates, so content looks crisp and fluid either way &mdash; but OnePlus offers an LTPO screen that can smartly dial down refresh rate all the way down to 1Hz to save battery. Both phones also come with stereo speakers, so your Netflix binge is in good hands.</p>
<p>I even ran a few 4K HDR videos on YouTube, and while both of them looked great, the OnePlus stood out. It uses a 10-bit panel, supports Dolby Vision, and handled HDR way better&mdash;especially in the shadows.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It also gets brighter. The 13R peaks at 1600 nits, while the Reno hits 1200 in HBM. &nbsp;So yeah, display-wise, the OnePlus takes it for me</p>
<h2><strong>Cameras</strong></h2>
<p>Cameras is where things get really interesting.</p>
<p>The 13R packs a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP 2X telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide. The Reno has a 50MP main with OIS, a 50MP 3.5X telephoto with OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide.</p>
<p>In daylight, both take sharp photos. However, OnePlus&rsquo;s photos are more saturated and punchy. Reno&rsquo;s images are flatter but more natural, especially with skin tones. I preferred Reno&rsquo;s colours over two.</p>
<p>The ultrawide is where the Reno really shines. Its 50MP ultrawide beats the OnePlus&rsquo;s 8MP sensor easily, especially in low light.</p>
<p>In zoom and portraits, Reno pulls away again. The 3.5X telephoto delivers sharper, clearer shots. Portraits look more natural with better depth. OnePlus is decent, but its portraits can feel a bit over-processed.</p>
<p>Selfies are again a no contest. Oppo&rsquo;s 50MP front camera with autofocus is way better than OnePlus&rsquo;s 16MP fixed-focus shooter. The Reno also handles highlights much better.</p>
<p>Both phones shoot 4K video at 60fps on the rear camera. OnePlus stabilisation is solid but sometimes the footage looks over-sharpened and jittery. The Reno&rsquo;s video is smoother with better colour accuracy. Plus, Reno can shoot 4K 60 on the front camera, while OnePlus tops out at 1080p 30fps.</p>
<h2><strong>Performance</strong></h2>
<p>Camera-wise, the Reno takes the crown but OnePlus clawed back some serious points in performance.</p>
<p>The OnePlus 13R comes in swinging with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, up to 16 gigs of RAM, and 512GB of storage &mdash; basically flagship specs. The Reno 14 Pro settles for a Dimensity 8450 with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage. Still solid, but definitely not in the same weight class.</p>
<p>In day to day use, both are quick and responsive. But push them hard in benchmarks and games and the 13R clearly pulls ahead. It scored 27% higher on AnTuTu and had a 34% lead in Geekbench&rsquo;s single-core. Plus, it stayed cooler during benchmarks</p>
<p>Gaming though, sealed it for me. BGMI hit 120fps on the 13R with only minor dips. Reno was capped at 60fps, though it stayed smooth.&nbsp;</p>
<p>All in all, this was an easy win for OnePlus here.</p>
<p>Both phones run Android 15, OxygenOS on OnePlus, ColorOS on Oppo, and honestly, they feel the exact same. &nbsp;As in, daily usability is smooth on both, but OnePlus has faster app loading times, thanks to its UFS 4.0 storage versus Oppo's UFS 3.1.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Both smartphones have bloatware, so neither gets the clean software crown.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Oppo&rsquo;s promising 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches &mdash; which is&hellip; fine.&nbsp;</p>
<p>But in a world where OnePlus is offering 4 and 6, &ldquo;fine&rdquo; doesn&rsquo;t really cut it.</p>
<h2><strong>Battery</strong></h2>
<p>Moving to the batteries, the Reno 14 Pro packs a 6200mAh battery, and the OnePlus 13R has a 6000mAh cell. Both lasted me well over a day, but surprisingly, the OnePlus pulled ahead by a bit. That Snapdragon chip is just better optimised.</p>
<p>Both support 80W wired charging, and bypass charging. But the Reno wins again since you also get 50W wireless charging.&nbsp;</p>
<p>That&rsquo;s super handy if you hate cables like I do.</p>
<h2><strong>Verdict</strong></h2>
<p>So, which one should you buy&hellip; Well, If performance is your top priority, the OnePlus 13R is a beast.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It's got a fast chip, great battery life, and a killer display.</p>
<p>But if you want better cameras, sleeker design, and the bonus of wireless charging, the Reno 14 Pro delivers big time.</p>
<p>If it were up to me? I&rsquo;d pick the Reno &mdash; I&rsquo;m a camera girl, and those quad 50MP sensors are kinda hard to ignore. But if you game a lot or want pure speed, the 13R is what you should go for. It all comes down to what you care about more.</p>

<p>The Galaxy M36, as seasoned Samsung fans might&rsquo;ve already guessed, is essentially a more affordable spin on the A36. You&rsquo;re getting a lot of the same core specs, but at a noticeably lower price.</p>
<p>Of course, there are trade-offs. The design isn&rsquo;t as polished, and a few features have been trimmed to keep costs down. But with that drop in price, the question is: does the M36 still deliver where it counts? That&rsquo;s exactly what we&rsquo;re here to find out.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M36: India pricing and variants</strong></h3>
<p>The Galaxy M36 5G starts at a pretty competitive ₹17,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. If you want a bit more memory, the 8GB + 128GB variant will set you back ₹18,999. The top-end version with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at ₹21,999. Across the board, it&rsquo;s priced well for what it offers &mdash; especially if long-term software support is high on your list.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M36: Design &amp; Build Quality </strong></h3>
<p>The Galaxy M36 is actually a pretty sleek-looking phone &mdash; at least from the back. Samsung's clearly getting bolder with the M series design, and we&rsquo;re here for it. The Orange Haze shade we tested feels fresh and a little more fun than the usual black-and-blue crowd. The back panel is polycarbonate, sure, but it doesn&rsquo;t scream &ldquo;budget.&rdquo; In fact, it feels fairly premium in hand, though it does love a good fingerprint smudge.</p>
<p>Samsung&rsquo;s made some subtle changes to the camera layout this time. It&rsquo;s still a vertical strip, but the arrangement&rsquo;s been slightly reworked &mdash; a small detail, but it breaks the monotony we&rsquo;ve come to expect. At just 7.7mm thick, the Galaxy M36 feels comfortably slim in hand. The flat sides give it a modern profile, though like the back, it&rsquo;s all plastic &mdash; and yeah, it feels like it. Still, it doesn&rsquo;t cross into cheap territory.</p>
<p>Flip it over, and things get a little less exciting. The front design is where the M36 shows its budget roots. The waterdrop notch is starting to feel outdated in 2025, and that chunky bottom chin could easily be half the size. Still, the 6.7-inch display gives you plenty of screen real estate &mdash; and then comes the surprise: Gorilla Glass Victus+. That's a rare spec to see at this price point, and it instantly elevates the durability game.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M36: Display</strong></h3>
<p>The Galaxy M36 gets a slight size bump with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel, but otherwise, it&rsquo;s the same deal as last year&rsquo;s M35 &mdash; FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits peak brightness.</p>
<p>But hey, if there&rsquo;s one thing Samsung rarely messes up, it&rsquo;s displays. And this one&rsquo;s no different. Vibrant colours, deep blacks, buttery-smooth scrolling &mdash; this screen easily delivers some of the best visual quality in its price segment. No gimmicks, just a genuinely great panel that reminds you why Samsung still owns the AMOLED game.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M36: Performance</strong></h3>
<p>Under the hood, the Galaxy M36 plays it safe &mdash; maybe too safe. It&rsquo;s powered by the same Exynos 1380 chip as its predecessor. It&rsquo;s a capable processor for day-to-day use, but let&rsquo;s be real: no upgrade here feels like a missed opportunity for what&rsquo;s supposed to be a new release.</p>
<p>We tested the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, but Samsung also offers 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB storage. The sweet spot is probably the 8+128 combo &mdash; especially since you get microSD card support for up to 2TB. So you can skip the pricier 256GB option without storage FOMO.</p>
<p>On paper, the M36 holds its own. It clocked around 6,00,000 on AnTuTu, held steady on the CPU throttling test (a mostly green graph, always a good sign), and landed scores of 1013 (single-core) and 2911 (multi-core) on GeekBench.</p>
<p>When it comes to gaming, the Exynos 1380 is no slouch &mdash; as long as you manage your expectations. BGMI ran at a smooth 60fps with no noticeable lag, and Call of Duty: Mobile hovered around 55&ndash;60fps with minimal frame drops. Even better, the phone barely warmed up during long sessions. Genshin Impact, however, is where things start to slip. You can play it at 60fps on low settings, but in heavy combat it drops to around 40fps. After 30 minutes of gameplay, the phone held steady at 41&deg;C &mdash; warm, but not worrisome.</p>
<p>Everyday stuff &mdash; scrolling, texting, emails, YouTube &mdash; is smooth and snappy as well. No lag, no weird stutters, just a solid all-round experience.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M36: Camera Performance</strong></h3>
<p>The Galaxy M36 sticks to a tried-and-tested formula. You get a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens that feels like it's there mostly to pad the spec sheet. Up front, there's a 13MP selfie shooter. If this sounds familiar, that&rsquo;s because it's exactly the same setup as the Galaxy M35.</p>
<p>The main camera delivers reasonably good shots &mdash; there&rsquo;s solid detail, and colour reproduction leans natural, especially with skin tones. There&rsquo;s a 2x digital zoom toggle, and results there are&hellip; fine. Not tack-sharp, but usable for social.<br>Low light performance gets a boost from the OIS, and Night Mode does a good job of brightening up the scene and adding some punch to colours without going overboard.</p>
<p>Portrait mode, however, still needs some work. Edge detection can be hit or miss &mdash; especially around tricky areas like hair. You&rsquo;ll get usable results, but don&rsquo;t expect pixel-perfect separation every time.</p>
<p>On the bright side, the ultra-wide camera keeps pace with the main shooter in terms of colour tuning, so switching between lenses doesn&rsquo;t feel jarring. And selfies from the 13MP front camera are surprisingly good. Natural skin tones, decent dynamic range &mdash; no over-smoothing nonsense.</p>
<p>Video capabilities are standard for the price: 4K at 30fps on both front and rear cameras. Footage is stable and sharp enough, though colours do get a little boost &mdash; sometimes more than necessary.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M36: Software</strong></h3>
<p>The Galaxy M36 runs One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box, and the experience is smooth and polished. While there are a few preinstalled apps you might not need, the interface feels fluid, and daily usage is hassle-free. Samsung Wallet is also supported, so you can tap to pay, and the promise of six years of software and security updates makes this a phone you won&rsquo;t need to replace anytime soon.</p>
<p>Samsung&rsquo;s AI game is strong here. You get tools that actually make a difference&mdash;like Circle to Search for instant lookups without leaving the screen, and Image Clipper, which lets you lift objects out of photos like stickers, perfect for quick sharing.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M36: Battery &amp; Charging</strong></h3>
<p>I&rsquo;ve got mixed feelings about the battery on the Galaxy M36. The 5,000mAh cell easily gets you through a full day &mdash; even with heavy use. So, no complaints on endurance. But here&rsquo;s the thing: it&rsquo;s a step down from last year&rsquo;s 6,000mAh battery on the Galaxy M35. Sure, it&rsquo;s slimmer and lighter now, but losing that extra headroom stings a little.</p>
<p>Charging, unfortunately, is still stuck in the slow lane. You get 25W wired charging, and it takes about 90 minutes to go from 0 to 100%. That&rsquo;s fine if you're not in a rush, but most of the competition is pulling ahead with faster charging speeds at this price point.</p>
<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy M36 Review: Verdict</strong></h3>
<p>The Samsung Galaxy M36 handles day-to-day tasks with ease and is reasonably priced for what it offers. But here&rsquo;s the thing&mdash;it&rsquo;s not a major upgrade over the M35. You&rsquo;re looking at the same processor, the same camera setup, and the M35 even packs a slightly bigger battery.</p>
<p>If you're a Samsung loyalist on a budget, the M35 still makes a lot of sense&mdash;especially since it&rsquo;ll also get Android 18 in 2028. The only real reasons to pick the M36 instead? A more refined design and a longer software update promise. So, if those two matter to you, the M36 might just be worth the extra spend.</p>

<p>Today we&rsquo;ll be doing something slightly different because I have got something very special with me. This box right here has the latest models from OnePlus&rsquo;s super-popular Nord series. Yes, the Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5. &nbsp;</p>
<p>I know you all are very super excited to learn more about the phones, so let&rsquo;s get straight to the unboxing.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Now, the box that I&rsquo;ve got here is the special media package that OnePlus has been kind enough to send across.</p>
<p>By the way, in case you are wondering, both these phones are launching in India on 8th July.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Now moving on, since it&rsquo;s the media package, it is a little quirky and flashy.</p>
<p>It&rsquo;s big, and blue, and opens up in a rather unusual way. The first thing that we get to seen in the box is this to reveal a mirror cube.</p>
<p>After that, we get to retail boxes of the Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5. The Nord CE 5 will be the more affordable out of the two, so we&rsquo;ll get to it later.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Let&rsquo;s unbox the main star of the upcoming launch, the OnePlus Nord 5 first.</p>
<p>The Nord 5 is the successor to the super popular Nord 4, which was released last year, and was powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.&nbsp;</p>
<p>For the Nord 5, OnePlus is using the the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.</p>
<p>Here we finally have the phone&hellip;Which we&rsquo;ll get to later.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In the meantime, let&rsquo;s see what else do we get in the box first.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Now let&rsquo;s keep all of this aside, and unwrap the phone. I am so excited.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Nord 5 that we have here is in the Marble Sands colour.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The device feels rock solid in the hand. You can also get in Dry Ice and Phantom Grey colourways, but I really like this wavy, cool, shimmery pattern on the Nord 5.</p>
<p>We won&rsquo;t be going into detail about the software and performance of this phone just yet, cause we&rsquo;re saving it for the full review, so stay tuned for that.</p>
<p>What we can tell you is that the Nord 5 should be a proper gaming beast.</p>
<p>OnePlus claims that you can play BGMI at 144 fps, for a cool 5 hours, without any issues.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Going back to the design, at the back, we get this pill shaped camera island which houses the main 50MP Sony LYT-700 sensor, along with an 8MP ultrawide.&nbsp;</p>
<p>OnePlus says they have done something special with the camera, so have a look at some of these sample photos and do let us know what you think.</p>
<p>At the front, we again get a 50MP sensor for selfies. This means, that for the first time, a Nord device will be able to shoot 4K60 fps videos from both, the front and the back cameras.</p>
