Realme is all set to release its highly anticipated next-generation GT smartphone - the Realme GT 5.

With a launch date scheduled for August 28 in China, anticipation is building as numerous teasers surface online, providing insight into the device's impressive features.

One of the most notable and exciting features revealed so far is the support for lightning-fast 240W fast charging, allowing users to top up their battery in record time.

The Realme GT 5 will come equipped with the innovative SuperVOOC S charging technology. This technology allows users to achieve approximately 2 hours of talk time with just a 30-second charge.

Unlike traditional fast charging methods that may impact battery health over time, SuperVOOC S ensures minimal battery degradation, allowing users to charge their devices quickly without worrying about long-term consequences.

Although the exact battery capacity of the Realme GT 5 has not been officially disclosed, reports suggest that the smartphone will be available in two battery variants.

One is expected to feature a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging, while another variant may offer a larger 5,200mAh battery with 150W charging.

With the advanced 240W fast charging technology, the smartphone can reportedly fill a 4,500mAh battery to full capacity in just 9 minutes, offering users unrivalled convenience.

For users seeking ample storage space, the phone will be available in multiple storage options ranging from 128GB up to 1TB.

Additionally, the GT 5 is expected to feature a stunning 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate.
