'Mirzapur' Season 3 first glimpse shows Pankaj Tripathi returning as daredevil Kaleen Bhaiya, WATCH

Amazon Prime Video on Tuesday dropped a list of upcoming movies and shows that will be released on their platform in 2024. Some new, other sequels—the announcement video has taken the internet by storm. However, one of the most anticipated titles that ignited a fan frenzy is 'Mirzapur' Season 3. In footage shared by Prime Video on YouTube, a few-second-long clip gives a glimpse into the gritty world of Kaleen Bhaiya and co.

Kaleen Bhaiya returns!

In the announcement video, Pankaj Tripathi’s Kaleen Bhaiya asks, “Bhool toh nahi gaye humein? (Did you forget us?)” It also shows Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Shweta Tripathi, and Isha Talwar, among others. Meanwhile, at the 'Are You Ready?' event hosted by Prime Video India, the cast shared some more insights into the upcoming part. As Manoj Bajpayee was hosting the segment, Ali and Shweta attempted to “kidnap” him, coercing him into revealing the release date of the show. Ali also said in his famous dialogue, “Shuru majboori main kiye the par ab maza aa raha hai.” They are then joined by Pankaj Tripathi, who also forces Bajpayee to spill more beans.

More about 'Mirzapur' Season 3

As per the makers, in season 3, “Guddu (Ali) and Golu (Shweta) are pitted against a new contender as they stake their claim to the throne. Will they pass the baptism of fire, or will external forces seek to destroy the seat of power forever?”

'Mirzapur' first premiered in 2018, followed by a second season in 2020. Fans have been waiting for a third season ever since then.
