Ranbir Kapoor's first look from 'Love and War' unveiled; film to release in 2027

Ranbir Kapoor's first look from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's much-anticipated period drama 'Love and War' was unveiled on Thursday, with the actor sporting a bloodied, bruised appearance in a vintage convertible.

The poster features Ranbir in a retro avatar, complete with a pencil moustache, round sunglasses and a gunshot wound on his arm. The first look offers a glimpse into the visual world of the film, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.

In the poster, Ranbir is seen sitting behind the wheel of a turquoise vintage convertible, with classic architecture in the background. He sports a short buzz cut with slicked-back hair and a light-coloured knit polo shirt, adding to the period setting.

His left arm, resting outside the car door, is visibly bruised and covered in blood, with what appears to be a bullet wound. The actor's calm expression, despite his injuries, adds an element of intrigue to the first look.

The makers also released the poster with background music, reflecting Bhansali's association with music and visual spectacle.
