Did Ryu Jun Yeol cheat on Hyeri? Han So Hee replies to Netizens amid backlash

Hallyu fans are still in shock with ‘Nevertheless’ actor Han So Hee and ‘Reply 1988’ fame Ryu Jun Yeol confirmed their dating rumours. Both actors are facing heavy backlash as they disclosed their relationship. In the eye of the storm is the timing of Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri’s breakup.

Han So Hee’s claim on Ryu Jun Yeol and Hyeri’s breakup

A day after her agency denied the dating rumours, Han So Hee penned a long note on the blog post where she confirmed that she was dating Ryu Jun Yeol. While doing so, Han So Hee emphasised that she started dating the actor after his six-year-long relationship with Hyeri was over. She claimed that Hyeri and Ryu Jun Yeol broke up in early 2023, even though the official announcement was made in November 2023.

Netizens question Han So Hee’s claim

Han So Hee’s claims did not go down well with the netizens. As many questioned her claims, the actor replied to several comments on her blog post. She responded, “What I said about the timing of their breakup wasn’t something I heard personally from Ryu Jun Yeol. I wrote that based on an article from June of last year, but if it was out of line, I’ll delete it. I was trying to prove that we didn’t get together while he was still dating, but I think this was rude as well.”

Han So Hee faces heavy backlash

But, even Han So Hee’s explanation couldn’t help the fire to die down as many suggested that there were no articles in June about Ryu Jun Yeol’s breakup with Hyeri. This has led to an increase in the criticism and backlash that the new couple is facing. Hyeri’s fans claim that the ex-couple had denied their breakup rumours until August 2023 and hence, Han So Hee is lying.
Despite Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency claiming that the actor had gotten to know Han So Hee after his breakup with Hyeri and Han So Hee’s similar claims, social media is rife with speculations that Jun Yeol cheated on Hyeri with Han So Hee.

The South Korean actor, who gained international fame after featuring on BTS singer’s ‘Seven’, admitted that her image has sunk to the bottom. “ I’m sad because I know that my precious image was created by the support of my fans and everyone rather than myself. Even if I fall because of this matter, I will take it to heed,” the actor wrote in response to a comment.
