Byeon Woo Seok is Prada's New Face: How One Big Break Led to Many Brand Deals

South Korean actor Byeon Woo Seok has been announced as the new face of luxury brand Prada. He has joined his fellow A-listers like aespa’s Karina, ENHYPEN and TWICE’s Sana. Fashion is not a new forray for Woo Seok as he worked as a model before becoming an actor.

Byeon Woo Seok featured in popular projects like ‘20th Century Girl’, ‘Record of Youth’ and ‘Strong Girl Nam Soon’ but it was ‘Lovely Runner’ that turned him into an overnight global sensation. When the show was on air, he even surpassed BTS to grab the top spot in all-star brand rankings.

Even though ‘Lovely Runner’ ended, months ago, and Byeon Woo Seok is yet to announce his next project, he still features at number 11 in the latest star brand reputation rankings. A recent poll of industry insiders conducted by Joynews also named Byeon Woo Seok as the top K-drama actor of 2024.

Besides Prada, Byeon Woo Seok is representing multiple other brands like LG Electronics, Clinique and Discovery Expedition Korea. The South Korean actor also featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Korea and DAZED Korea in the wake of his show’s success.
