Salman Khan to begin shooting for 'Sikandar' on June 18; makers tease 'biggest air action sequence'

Salman Khan will next be seen in 'Sikandar', directed by A R Murugadoss. The film was officially announced on Eid in April. Now, as per the latest update, the actor is all set to kick-start the film's shooting on June 18. Rashmika Mandanna will also star in the film.

The makers of 'Sikandar' have finally shared a schedule update, bringing cheers to Salman Khan's fans, who have eagerly been anticipating his return to the silver screen. Taking to their Instagram handle, Nadiadwala Grandson revealed that the first schedule of the forthcoming film is set to begin on June 18. Along with the big announcement, the makers also promised that the film will be an action extravaganza, teasing the 'biggest air action sequence'. “#NGEFamily is super excited to share the date of our first day of shoot for #Sikandar on the 18th of June with the BIGGEST Air Action sequence!” the caption read.

Salman Khan announced his upcoming film 'Sikandar' with AR Murugadoss on Eid earlier this year. In an Instagram update, the actor wrote, “Iss Eid Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aur Maidaan ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak!”

Rashmika Mandanna also took to her Instagram account to confirm the film. She wrote, "You guys for a long time have been asking me for the next update and here it is. Surprise!! I’m truly grateful and honoured to be a part of Sikandar.”

'Sikandar' will be released in theatres on Eid 2025.
