Deepika Padukone talks about late-night conversations with Ranveer Singh on Meghan Markle’s podcast

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh recently made headlines after unconfirmed reports of their separation surfaced online. However, the couple has dismissed these rumours with their frequent social media PDA. In a special podcast with Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, Deepika talked about Ranveer for the first time since these rumours emerged. She appeared alongside actors Jenny Slate and Constance Wu.

The episode focused on the importance of taking care of our minds, as we do with our bodies, and during her conversation, Deepika said that for her it was the little things that mattered during her ongoing mental health journey.

‘It’s all about the little things like just, you know, hugging my sister or late-night conversations with my husband. Those are the moments that really fill me up today,’ she shared.

Towards the end of the conversation, Deepika also revealed that Ranveer and she have been away from home for quite some time due to work, and he’s going to be happy to see her face.

‘My husband was at a music festival for a week and he’s just come back. So, he’s gonna be happy to see my face,’ Deepika said.

Reacting to this, Meghan said, ‘Oh my goodness, how fun! Please don’t let me keep you. Please send my best and take good care. Keep in touch.’

Earlier, Ranveer had indirectly addressed the separation rumours at the FICCI Frames fast track event as he spoke about 10 years of togetherness with Deepika. ‘Touchwood… We met and started dating in 2012… so 2022 is ten years of me and Deepika,’ he said.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in ‘Cirkus’ along with Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film will release in theatres in December this year. He will also be seen with Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
