Ranveer Singh touches Nana Patekar's feet, kisses and hugs him on stage at awards event

Ranveer Singh was awarded the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year 2022 award on Tuesday. He was felicitated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis.

At the ceremony, the actor touched Nana Patekar’s feet to take his blessings and also kissed him on the cheek.

A video from the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year event in Mumbai has surfaced online. In the clip, Ranveer, who was seated among the audience, is seen standing up and saluting the people present there. He can then be seen gesturing to swing a bat in the air. He touches the stairs leading to the stage.

Ranveer touched Nana Patekar’s feet on stage to take his blessings. He also hugged the veteran actor and kissed him on his cheek. The duo shook hands before Ranveer received his award.

Ranveer Singh also was waved the Indian flag at the ceremony and sang the song ‘Malhari’ from ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Ranveer donned a white outfit paired with black shoes and sunglasses at the event.

On the work front, Ranveer will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's ‘Cirkus’, along with Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. He will star in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan.

Nana Patekar was last seen in the movie ‘It’s My Life’ (2020), directed by Anees Bazmee. The film also starred Harman Baweja and Genelia D’Souza.
