Actor and comedian Raju Srivastava's demise has left a void in the entertainment industry and the family is still coping with the major loss. In a recent interview, his daughter Antara has shared how famous personalities like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and superstar Amitabh Bachchan kept on checking up on Raju's health.
Speaking to ET Times, Antara expressed her gratitude towards those who reached out to her family during the distressed times. She said, &lsquo;there was one man who enquired about my dad&rsquo;s health every single day when he was hospitalised. Antara also added that Raju was so concerned about his fitness that he didn&rsquo;t miss gym even for a day. She said people shouldn&rsquo;t blame the gym for Raju death as he had a health condition. She said, &lsquo;Whatever happened to him, it was just incidental that it happened while he was gymming. He had a health condition. We shouldn&rsquo;t blame the gym.&rsquo;

The teaser of the much-anticipated Prime video series 'Hostel Daze' season 3 has been unveiled. The Abhinav Anand directorial stars Ahsaas Channa, Luv Vispute, Shubham Gaur, Nikhil Vijay, Ayushi Gupta, and Utsav Sarkar. It also has the final onscreen appearance of the late comedian Raju Srivastava. The series revolves around the college lives of the six friends and their dilemmas.
The teaser begins with a quick recap of the first two seasons where the narrator explains how each year in an engineering college hostel is different. The new season sees the gang in the third year of their engineering college. The narrator can be heard saying, 'Just like a lamp flutters before extinguishing, an engineer bubbles up in the third year.'
There are various guest appearances on the show this season. The one that grabbed everyone&rsquo;s attention was Raju Srivastava, who seems to be portraying the role of a tea shop vendor or paan wallah around the campus.
Seeing the late comedian made several fans emotional and they dropped heart emojis in the comments section.

&lsquo;Raju's struggle days started with me. We have family relations, and we are neighbours as well. So you can imagine how much grief I am in. Renowned comedian-actor Raju Srivastava’s last rites were performed at Nigambodh Ghat in New Delhi. He died at AIIMS on September 21 where he was admitted after suffering a heart attack on August 10. 
The mortal remains of Raju Srivastava were taken in an ambulance decorated with white flowers from his residence in Dwarka with fans following the van.

‘We did a lot of stage shows together, participated in reality shows and even did films together. He always made sure people would have a smile on their face. He had an amazing sense of humour and would often entertain everyone. I still recall the days when we did The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He was, is and will always remain the king of stand-up comedy,’ he added.
Sunil Pal mentioned that he had met Raju two weeks before the unfortunate incident. ‘We met at his office and I was accompanied by an aspiring comedian. Raju bhai asked him to perform and he really loved his comedy. He gave him a monetary reward and also encouraged him to pursue the career. Raju bhai was a person who would encourage and motivate emerging talent,’ he said.

'He is critical and on ventilator in the ICU,' the source told PTI.
Raju's cousin Ashok Srivastava informed that the actor-comedian suffered a heart attack while exercising and his wife Shikha had reached Delhi to be by his side.&nbsp;
'He was doing his routine exercise and while he was on the treadmill, he suddenly fell down. He suffered a heart attack and was immediately taken to the AIIMS hospital,' he had told PTI.

Raju Srivastava’s health is now improving. His chief advisor Ajit Saxena has confirmed that the comedian is now able to move his hands and feet as he gained consciousness. He suffered from a heart attack while exercising and was admitted to AIIMS hospital last month.  
Raju remained unconscious for 14 days. He has underwent angioplasty.  India Today quoted Ajit Saxena saying the comedian made movements and interacted with his wife Shikha Srivastava. He also told that Raju’s condition is ‘steadily improving.’ 
Raju’s wife is the only person who is allowed to meet him in the hospital to avoid the risk of infection. Earlier daughter Antara Srivastava had shared an update that the comedian’s condition is stable. 
Earlier some rumors were spreading that Raju’s condition is deteriorating. His wife has urged people not to spread false news. She told PTI, ‘My sincere request is kindly do not spread rumours. It affects our morale. We do not want negative energy, we need positivity. Please pray for his speedy recovery and he will be back soon. Doctors are giving their best and Raju ji is supporting them, He is fighting. So, kindly do not spread negativity.’

The report also says that his brain has suffered severe damage due to the cardiac arrest.  The comedian was rushed to AIIMS hospital in Delhi after he had a stroke while running on the treadmill on August 9 around 11:30 in the morning.  Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has assured help to Raju’s wife on a telephonic conversation. Defence minister Rajnath Singh also enquired the comedian’s health with the AIIMS director.  The fellow comedian Sunil Pal sprayed for Raju’s health and wrote on social media, “Raju Bhai get well soon. We all love you. Your health should be fine soon. His recovery is a great news for all of us.” The favorite comedian has participated in many popular comedy shows like The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabala, Comedy Circus, and Comedy Nights with Kapil.
