'The Kapil Sharma Show' to pay tribute to late Raju Srivastava in a special weekend episode; BTS pics out

Raju Srivastava’s death shocked the entire nation and fans are finding it hard to come to terms with the loss. Now, The Kapil Sharma Show is all set to pay tribute to the comedy king with a special weekend episode. In the forthcoming episode, the comedians will gather to pay homage to Raju. Actor-Comedian Jayvijay Sachan has shared some behind-the-scenes pictures from the show on social media.

Sharing the pictures, Sachan wrote, ‘All renowned comedians came together under one roof to pay a tribute to Late #RajuShrivastava ji.' Catch us all on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' on coming Saturday-Sunday.’

Kapil Sharma, Sunil Pal, Archana Puran Singh, Vijay Ishwarlal Pawar, and others could be seen in the pictures. Kapil has retweeted Sachan’s post.

Raju Srivastava passed away on September 21 after being in the hospital for more than a month. His colleagues remember him as a pioneer of Indian stand-up comedy. Many celebrities condoled Raju Srivastava's death on social media. Kapil also expressed his sadness and wrote on Twitter, ‘Today for the first time you have made me cry Raju Bhai (with a heart emoji) I wish there would have been one more meeting. May God place you at his feet. You will be greatly missed. Goodbye (hands folded emoji) Om Shanti.'

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan wrote a blog, paying homage to the comedian-actor. He remembered him for his everyday humor.

The weekend special episode of The Kapil Sharma Show will be telecasted on Sony Entertainment Television on Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm.
