A prayer meet was organized by Raju Srivastava’s family in honour of the late comedian in Mumbai on Sunday. It was held at the Iskcon Temple in Juhu in the evening, and several celebrities arrived to pay their last respects.

Actors like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kay Kay Menon, Gurmeet Choudhary, and filmmakers Abbas Mustan were among others present at the prayer meet.

According to Hindustan Times, Johnny Lever spoke about the late comedian at the prayer meet and said that his demise is a ‘huge loss for stand-up comedy’.

‘Raju's struggle days started with me. We have family relations, and we are neighbours as well. So you can imagine how much grief I am in. We have lost a great artist, he would have made people laugh for many more years, but he suddenly died. It's a huge loss for stand-up comedy,’ he said.
