Raju Srivastava is no more: Celebrities mourn the demise of Comedy King

Raju Srivastava is no more : Comedian-actor Raju Srivastava passed away at the age of 58. He was admitted to Delhi’s AIIMS hospital after he suffered a heart attack during his gym session. The comedian was on ventilator support since August 10. The comedian died due to heart and brain-related complications. Raju Srivastava’s family confirmed his demise.

Raju's nephew Kushal Srivastava said, 'Yes, it is true. He passed away half an hour back. We all are at AIIMS. His entire family is here. We haven’t decided on the last rites yet.'

Several celebrities and Raju’s friends from the industry are mourning his demise.

Actor Anil Kapoor paid his condolence to the departed soul. Sharing the picture along with the comedian on his Instagram stories, the actor wrote, 'OM SHANTI'

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar also reacted to the unfortunate news. He took to Twitter and expressed grief about the comedian's demise. He tweeted, 'Saddened to hear the tragic news of Raju Srivastav's untimely demise. He made us all laugh with his amazing comic timing for so many years we have lost a gem. My deepest condolences to his family members & admirers.'

Shekhar Suman has also mourned his demise. He wrote on twitter, 'Wat I was dreading for the past one month has happened. Raju Srivastava has left all of us for his heavenly abode. Devastated to hear the news. May God grant him eternal peace.#OmShanti'

Actor Nimrat Kaur also paid condolences to the comedian. She tweeted, 'Deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Late Raju Srivastava ji. May God bless his journey into the light #RIPRajuSrivastava'.
