Nothing's Latest Pokémon Teasers Hint At New Hardware, RCB Collaboration May Also Be In The Works

Nothing has released new Pokémon-themed teasers featuring Blastoise and Jumpluff, sparking speculation about a smartphone and earbuds. An RCB-inspired product, may also be in the works

Nothing's Latest Pokémon Teasers Hint At New Hardware, RCB Collaboration May Also Be In The Works

Nothing has once again turned to its now-familiar Pokémon-themed teaser strategy to build anticipation around upcoming products. The company recently shared cryptic images of Blastoise and Jumpluff rendered in its signature dot-matrix style, sparking speculation that at least two new devices could be on the way.

For long-time followers of the brand, the references are hardly random. Nothing is known to use Pokémon characters as internal codenames for products and has frequently used them to tease launches before making official announcements. While the company has not revealed what the latest teasers represent, clues from the posts and recent leaks have already fuelled several theories.

Blastoise Teaser Points To A New Smartphone

The first teaser features Blastoise, the powerful Water-type Pokémon from the original generation. Known for its durability and heavy-duty design, Blastoise has led many observers to believe that the teaser is linked to an upcoming smartphone.

One possibility is the long-rumoured CMF Phone 3 Pro. Reports and leaks have suggested that the device could arrive with upgraded materials, a metal frame, a redesigned camera module inspired by Nothing's flagship phones, and a Qualcomm processor. Rumours have also pointed to a larger 5,500mAh battery with support for 45W charging.

However, there is another angle to consider. The Blastoise teaser was shared by Nothing India rather than CMF by Nothing, leading some to speculate that the device could belong to the main Nothing smartphone lineup instead of the CMF series. For now, the company remains tight-lipped about its plans.

Jumpluff Could Signal New Audio Products

Alongside Blastoise, Nothing also teased Jumpluff, a Grass and Flying-type Pokémon known for its lightweight appearance and ability to travel long distances with the wind.

That has led to speculation that the teaser may be linked to a new audio product. Industry watchers believe it could be the rumoured Ear (3a), a pair of wireless earbuds that reportedly surfaced in Indonesia's SDPPI certification database recently. The earbuds are expected to feature active noise cancellation and could slot into Nothing's growing audio portfolio.

If the speculation proves accurate, the teasers suggest that Nothing may be preparing to refresh both its smartphone and audio lineups in the coming weeks.

RCB Partnership Teaser Adds Another Layer Of Mystery

Adding to the intrigue, Nothing India recently shared another teaser that appears to hint at a collaboration with Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The image featured the franchise's lion crest embossed on a deep red background and carried a simple caption: "WIP."

The post, shared jointly by Nothing India and RCB, has prompted speculation about a limited-edition product inspired by the IPL champions. Potential candidates include a special version of a Nothing smartphone, wireless earbuds, or even the recently launched Headphone (1).

Nothing has served as RCB's title sponsor during the 2026 IPL season, making a commemorative collaboration a plausible next step. While the company has yet to confirm any details, more teasers are likely to emerge before the mystery products are officially unveiled.
