Dell Launches New Alienware 16X Aurora, 16 Area-51 and 18 Area-51 Gaming Laptops in India

Dell Technologies has expanded its premium gaming portfolio in India with the launch of three new Alienware laptops: the Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 18 Area-51. First unveiled globally at CES 2026, the new lineup combines Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, redesigned thermal systems and high-refresh-rate displays to target everyone from enthusiast gamers to content creators.

Alienware 16X Aurora: OLED Display Meets Portability

The Alienware 16X Aurora is designed for users looking for a balance between premium gaming performance and portability. It features a 16-inch WQXGA anti-glare OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, a 0.2ms response time, HDR True Black 500 certification and up to 620 nits of HDR peak brightness. Dell says the anti-glare coating reduces reflections and fingerprints while preserving the visual advantages of OLED technology.

Under the hood, the laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra Plus processors and can be configured with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU. To keep temperatures under control, Dell has introduced a redesigned Cryo-Chamber cooling architecture.

The laptop also includes Alienware's Stealth Mode, which can be activated using the F7 key to reduce fan noise and switch the keyboard lighting for quieter productivity sessions. The system is available in a new Interstellar Indigo finish inspired by the night sky.

Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 18 Area-51: Flagship Gaming Machines

The Alienware Area-51 lineup sits at the top of Dell's gaming portfolio. The Alienware 16 Area-51 features a 16-inch WQXGA anti-glare OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, while the larger Alienware 18 Area-51 gets an 18-inch WQXGA display with a refresh rate of up to 300Hz and a 3ms response time.

Both models are powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors and can be configured with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs, 64GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of storage. Dell says the systems are capable of delivering up to 240W of Total Performance Power on the 16-inch model and up to 280W on the 18-inch version. Other highlights include Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, Wi-Fi 7 support, a 96Wh battery, advanced thermal engineering and customisable RGB lighting.

Pricing, Availability and Launch Offers

The Alienware 16X Aurora is priced from ₹2,62,990, while the Alienware 16 Area-51 starts at ₹3,97,960. The larger Alienware 18 Area-51 is priced from ₹3,95,200. The laptops are available through Dell's website, Dell Exclusive Stores, large-format retail outlets, multi-brand stores and leading e-commerce platforms.

As part of the launch, Dell is offering discounted one-year extended warranty plans, promotional pricing on Alienware gaming headsets with eligible purchases, zero down payment financing and No Cost EMI options through select banking partners.
