How much battery is too much battery for a smartphone? 5,000mAh? Nah. 5,500? Not even close. 6,500? Try harder. This is the new iQOO Z10— and apparently, 7,300mAh is the new benchmark.
iQOO Z10 Battery & Charging
This thing packs the biggest smartphone battery in India, which basically means you can forget about carrying a power bank ever again. But you’re probably wondering—what does a 7,300mAh battery actually do for you?
Well, to give you a rough idea, you can binge-watch your favourite shows for up to 35 hours, game for around 15 hours, and even record videos for up to 8.5 hours. That’s a lot of screen time.
Now, full disclosure—we still have to do a full battery test since we’ve only had the device for a limited time. But honestly, we’d be genuinely surprised if it didn't last more than two days with medium to heavy use.
iQOO Z10 Design & Build
What’s even crazier is that iQOO has somehow crammed this massive battery into a 7.89mm frame while keeping the weight under 200g. That’s some serious engineering flex.
The phone supports 90W fast charging, and the charger comes in the box. It can take you from 0 to 50 percent in just over 30 minutes.
As for aesthetics, the Z10 comes in two colours: Stellar Black and this Glacier Silver variant. It has a matte finish, which not only helps with grip and resists smudges but also adds a premium sheen. Plus, when you tilt it in your hand, it creates these subtle wavy patterns, which look pretty cool.
On the back, there’s a large circular camera module housing two lenses, surrounded by a silver ring. It’s a clean design, though nothing we haven’t seen before. The module does stick out a bit, but since it’s centrally placed, the phone doesn’t wobble much when placed on a flat surface. And just to clarify, the back isn’t glass—it’s plastic, just like the frame.
Now, about how it feels in the hand…Despite packing a massive battery, the phone feels shockingly light - it's not at all bulky like you’d expect from a phone with this kind of power pack. The slim build also means it’s thin enough to hold comfortably, even with one hand.
That said, it’s a tall phone—so if you have smaller hands, reaching the top of the screen might require some finger gymnastics. But overall, it’s well-balanced, and the curved edges make it nice to grip without feeling boxy.
iQOO Z10 Display
The local peak brightness is a staggering 5,000 nits. That’s ridiculously bright—probably brighter than anything else in this price range. Even outdoors in harsh sunlight, you won’t have any issues viewing content.
And because it’s quad-curved, the display flows into the frame, making swipes and gestures feel smoother.
iQOO Z10 Performance
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 powering this phone isn’t completely new—we’ve seen this same chipset on devices like the Nothing Phone 3a series, Realme P3 Pro, and Realme 14 Pro+.
But all those phones cost between ₹25,000 and ₹30,000. Meanwhile, The iQOO Z10 comes with a starting price of ₹21,999 for the variant featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The models with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage are available for ₹23,999 and ₹25,999, respectively.
iQOO is also calling this the Fastest Smartphone in the Segment, and they’re backing it up with an AnTuTu score of over 8.2 lakhs. And yeah, that checks out in our own testing as well.
Verdict
A battery that might outlast your weekend, a sleek design that doesn’t feel bulky, a crazy bright display, solid performance with a very decent chipset, and 90W fast charging to keep you going.
If this thing delivers on its promises, it might just be the new battery king in the mid budget segment. I also think it could be a great option for students who attend a lot of online classes and even for teachers who conduct them.
