Madhur Bhandarkar asks Neeraj Chopra if he wants to act, here's what the Olympian said

India's athletes made us all proud thus year, with a remarkable performance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar recently met Olympics medal winners Neeraj Chopra and Mirabai Chanu, and netizens went berserk speculating if they would soon take a foray into acting, after their new found fame.

In an exclusive interview with E Times, Madhur Bhandarkar said, he didn't meet the athletes for any film. Madhur added though, that he did ask golden boy Neeraj Chopra about his interest in acting.

Madhur told the leading daily, that he jokingly asked Neeraj that now that he is a superstar and is also good looking, would he be interested in acting?

Neeraj very promptly said, he doesn't want to act and his only focus is his game, he said, he still has a lot of achieve for his country.
