Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’ premiered on Netflix on May 1 and it has been receiving positive reviews from the film fraternity, fans, and critics. Now, Aditi Rao Hydari’s fiancé Siddharth has also heaped praise on the show.

Siddharth shared a poster of ‘Heeramandi’ on his Instagram stories and praised the ‘acting, music, aesthetic, and drama’ in the web series. His note read, ‘Grateful that we are living in the age of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Saab. A letter of love and freedom told in the confines of a bygone age with images that mesmerise the heart, music, and verse that stir the soul—a work of art that would make K. Asif Saab proud. Love and congratulations to the whole team!’

Besides Aditi Rao Hydari, ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chaddha, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Shaikh in the lead roles.

About Aditi and Siddharth

Aditi Rao Hydari recently got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Siddharth in Telangana. They surprised fans by confirming the news on Instagram, amidst rumors of a secret marriage. Aditi recently spoke about her engagement and shared the reasons behind their decision to announce it publicly.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Aditi shared, ‘Jo bhi special hone wala hai, mujhe shuruat ek special jagah se karni thi. Woh meri family ka ek temple hai, which is 400 years old, I wanted to go there and do puja. There, I had a little engagement.’

She also shared why she confirmed her relationship with Siddharth officially. ‘We shared this image on social media to clarify all the rumours that were doing the rounds at that time. My mother asked me to clarify things as she was getting back-to-back calls regarding the same,’ she said.

Aditi Rao Hydari and Telugu actor Siddharth first crossed paths on the set of the 2021 film Maha Samudram. Although the movie didn't receive much acclaim, it played a pivotal role in bringing them together. Rumours suggested that they developed feelings for each other during the filming process.
