Vignesh Shivan shares cryptic posts after surrogacy claims; he believes 'positivity is a choice'

Vignesh Shivan and his actor wife Nayanthara have been embroiled in a controversy ever since they announced the birth of their twins on October 9. The filmmaker has now shared a series of cryptic posts discussing the importance of frustrating days. Taking to Instagram stories, the actor reshared a quote by filmmaker Ethan Coen. He also reshared a post on how happiness in life was dependent on the quality of thoughts one had. The quote he shared read, ‘Like any kind of writing, there are good days. But even frustrating days can be be rewarding sometimes.’ The quote was originally posted by an account called Screencraft.

Vignesh and Nayanthara have reportedly welcomed twin boys via surrogacy.
According to a report by Onmanorama.com, the couple submitted an affidavit saying that they registered their marriage six years ago. They have also claimed that surrogate is Nayanthara’s relative who is based UAE.

For the unversed, the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act passed in December, says that the couple should be married for five years and the surrogate should be a married relative with a child of her own. Altruistic surrogacy is for infertile Indian couples and the age category for husband is between 26 and 55 years of age and wife between 23 and 50 years.

Vignesh and Nayanthara married on June 9.
