Slipper thrown at actor Thalapathy Vijay at Vijayakanth’s funeral: Watch shocking video

In a shocking video, actor Thalapathy Vijay was captured being attacked by a slipper. This happened during the funeral of late Tamil actor turned politician Vijayakanth in Chennai. In the video that has now gone viral, a person is seen throwing his slipper at the actor. The slipper hit Thalapathy Vijay, after which, another person threw it away. The actor who was emotional as he paid last respects to Vijayakanth, was left in shock after the incident. A sea of fans mobbed the actor during the Vijayakanth’s funeral.

The video of the slipper attack has gone viral on social media, outraging the fans of Thalapathy. Angry fans have condemned the disrespectful behaviour and said that such behaviour is unacceptable. In fact, many other fan pages of other actors have spoken up on the matter condemning the act.

The ‘Leo’ actor had come to attend the funeral of DMDK founder Vijayakanth. He was seen breaking down in tears as he paid tribute to Captain. He also consoled the grieving family members of Vijayakanth as he held the hands of his wife.

The two actors shared a deep bond as Thalapathy had earlier revealed that Vijayakanth had supported him immensely during his initial days. He had credited Captain for providing the opportunities and support which helped him establish in the film industry.
