From ‘Thalapathy 68’ to GOAT: First look of Vijay's next film unveiled; fans give a thumbs up

The first look poster of Thalapathy Vijay’s next film is out. The film, which was tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 68’ has now been titled GOAT aka ‘The Greatest of All Time’. The makers of the much-awaited film have unveiled the first look poster on New Year’s Eve. Actor Vijay shared the title announcement with his fans on his X page.

The first look of the film’s poster hints that Vijay will be seen in a dual role. The superstar looks dashing in both the looks in the poster. The tagline on the poster reads, “Light can devour the darkness, but darkness cannot consume he light.”

Vijay’s fans could not contain their excitement over the film’s poster and their star’s stunning look. Soon, the social media was flooded with fans commenting on the poster and Vijay along With GOAT was trending on X.

Infact, the excitement continues as the makers have decided to double up Vijay’s fans New Year celebration. The second look of the ‘GOAT’ is expected to be released on January 1. Ahead of the second poster release, #TheGOAT2ndLook was already trending on X.

The ‘Leo’ star has collaborated with director Venkat Prabhu in this film. The shooting of the film is currently ongoing. Besides Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Laila will also star in the Tamil film, produced by Archana Kalpathi.
