Shah Rukh Khan tops TIME magazine’s annual readers’ poll, beats Prince Harry-Meghan, Lionel Messi

Legendary actor Shah Rukh Khan has topped the 2023 TIME100 poll, decided by readers who voted for those they feel deserve a spot on the annual list of the most influential people. According to the publication, out of the 1.2 million votes that were cast, 4% of them went to King Khan.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle secured the fourth spot in the list with each one of them getting 1.9% of the votes. Footballer Lionel Messi earned the fifth spot with 1.8% of the votes.
Earlier this year, Prince Harry made headlines after he released his memoir ‘Spare’ in which he opened up about his experiences as a member of the British royal family. Meghan is hosting a podcast titled ‘Archetypes’.

TIME’s annual list of the most influential people for 2023 will be released later this month.
Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ has been a massive hit worldwide and it has earned over Rs 1000 crore across the world. The Siddharth Anand directorial had marked his comeback to the big screen as a lead actor after his 2018 film ‘Zero’. Shah Rukh will next be seen in two other films – Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ and Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Dunki’.
