'Squid Game Season 2' first look: Lee Jung-jae returns to survive deadlier games, watch

The wait is finally over! Netflix India has offered the first glimpse into the much-anticipated Korean drama 'Squid Game Season 2'. The streaming giant dropped an intriguing teaser as it announced its 2024 line-up with a three-minute-long video. The upcoming season marks the return of Lee Jung-jae as Seong Gi-hu, who is expected to play even deadlier games this time around.

'Squid Game Season 2' is one of the most anticipated shows of the year. Netflix has finally delighted viewers with a peak into the upcoming instalment of the survive thriller. A quick glimpse of the forthcoming instalment of 'Squid Game' in the video shows Seong Gi-hun, wearing a dark blue suit and sporting dark punk hair as he exited the airport. He held his phone to his ear as someone said, "You are going to regret the choice you made." An angry Gi-hun replied, "I will find you. No matter what it takes." He then disconnected the call.

'Squid Game Season 2' cast

Detective Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon), the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), and the Recruiter (Gong Yoo) are among the other returning characters for Season 2. Meanwhile, Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon, Jo Yu-ri, and Park Gyu-young are the new additions to the survival thriller.

'Squid Game Season 2' is expected to release in the second half of 2024.
