Song Da Eun faces backlash for fuelling dating rumours with BTS Jimin, fans call her attention-seeker

Jimin of BTS is in the headlines but not for his music this time. The singer is being linked with a popular actor but fans do not believe it. South Korean actor Song Da Eun, who was linked with the singer earlier in 2022, seemingly dropped a hint about dating BTS singer on her social media and is under fire.

Despite denying the dating rumours vehemently in the past, ‘The Handmaiden’ actor recently posted a photo of two earbud cases on her social media. While one had her name written on it, the other case had Jimin written on it. This is not all.

The actor also shared a video of a person walking by the Brooklyn Park Pier, covering the face with a flower emoji. Fans noticed the similarity between the video with the one posted by V last year featuring Jimin. Another video posted by Song Da Eun shows similarities between the interior design of the place and Jimin’s residence.

The actor has come under fire for fuelling the dating rumuors and using Jimin’s name for publicity. Many are calling her attention seeker, while others are asking her to come clean instead of associating herself with Jimin on social media. Fans argued that she has posted insignificant hints and videos already available on social media to gain attention. Others chipped in that if she was really dating Jimin, she would not be doing this on social media, especially when the BTS member is in military.

Fans have also noticed that this is not the only time that the actor has hinted at relationships with a male star. Earlier in 2018, when the actor appeared on dating show ‘Heart Signal 2’, she made a similar post to that of her co-star, Kim Hyun Woo, despite dating another actor Jung Jae Ho at the time. In another instance involving producer Gray, she posted a picture of a couch similar to the one in his pictures. Gray’s agency had then denied the rumours.
