'My Demon' star Lee Sang Yi to star in CEO romance K-drama, spinoff of Shin Min Ah-Kim Young Dae starrer

'My Demon' star Lee Sang Yi and 'The Penthouse' actor Han Ji Hyun are reportedly teaming up for a new drama backed by tvN. The duo will star as the lead pairing the spin-off of Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae starrer rom-com that has yet to be released. According to K-media reports, the makers have confirmed a new CEO romance drama that will follow the upcoming drama 'Because I Want No Loss' (literal title).

Han Ji Hyun-Lee Sang Yi team up for new drama

As per a TenAsia report, Han Ji Hyun and Lee Sang-yi are confirmed to star in the upcoming TVING original series, The spin-off, tentatively titled 'CEO's Meal Plan' (literal title). Both actors' agencies, GOOD FRIENDS Company and SBD Entertainment have affirmed the reports, acknowledging their participation in the upcoming show. The report added that Lee Sang-yi will portray the role of a company CEO, while Han Ji Hyun will be a company nutritionist.

Starring Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae, 'Because I Want No Loss' is written by Kim Hye Young, the famed writer of the K-drama 'Her Private Life'. The show follows Son Hae Young, a lady who wants to get married to prevent losses, and Kim Ji Wook, a man who can't say no.

Meanwhile, 'The CEO’s Meal Plan' continues the storyline of second lead pair Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun, from the Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae starrer, with an enhanced storyline. According to their agencies, the filming for both dramas has been completed, with 'The CEO's Meal Plan' air airing right after the premiere of 'Because I Want No Loss'. The forthcoming drama will make Lee Sang Yi's first lead role.
