'Business Proposal' star Kim Min Kyu enlists in military, shares new look with fans

'Business Proposal' star Kim Min Kyu enlisted in the military on Monday, April 1. Ahead of his enlistment, the actor took to Instagram to share photos of himself saluting with his new military buzz cut while wearing a bright smile. His agency Companion Company announced the actor’s enlistment through his official fan cafe earlier on March 1.

Kim Min Kyu enlists in the military!

Kim Min Kyu on April 1 privately enlisted in the military to serve as an active duty soldier. Ahead of his enlistment, the actor took to Instagram to drop photos of himself flaunting his new look. Sporting a buzz cut, Kim was seen performing a military salute while flashing his bright smile. “I’ll be back safely,” he captioned the pics.

The actor was dressed in a black T-shirt and matching trousers, layering them with a checkered shirt and a hooded jacket. He also sported a pair of round frames.

Kim Min Kyu made his debut in the 2013 tvN drama "Monstar'. Some of his other projects include 'Signal,' 'Because This is My First Life,' 'Perfume,' 'Queen: Love and War,' 'Backstreet Rookie,' and 'Snowdrop'. His role as Go Food CEO Kang Tae Moo's chief of staff, Cha Sung Hoon, in the 2022 drama 'Business Proposal,' in particular, cemented his position as a true blue K-drama star.
