3 years after disbandment, a 'Wanna One' reunion may be on the cards for MAMA 2021

We may be getting a Wanna One reunion soon!

On Wednesday, reports said that Wanna One is planning to reunite ahead of the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards. This could be in light of I.O.I's reunion last May.

One report said, “Talks of a reunion always take place ahead of the award ceremony, but this year’s discussions are more positive and enthusiastic.”

In response to the report, CJ ENM revealed,that many plans are in motion including the Mnet Asian Music Awards, a concert, and an album involving all of the Wanna One members.

Wanna One was a project group consisting of the top 11 contestants from Mnet’s “Produce 101" Season 2. After the group disbanded in December 2018, the members went back to their former groups, debuted in new groups or went solo.

If the reunion happens, it will be Wanna One’s first time coming together as a group in almost three years since their final concert in January 2019.
