Johnny Depp makes his debut on TikTok, shares video thanking his 'loyal and unwavering supporters'

Johnny Depp made his debut on TikTok following his victory in the defamation trial against his former wife Amber Heard. The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor took to his social media account to thank his 'treasured, loyal and unwavering' supporters.

'We’ve been everywhere together, we have seen everything together. We have walked the same road together. We did the right thing together, all because you cared. And now, we will all move forward together. You are, as always, my employers and once again I am whittled down to no way to say thank you, other than just by saying thank you. So, thank you. My love & respect, JD,' he wrote.

Depp has over 4 million TikTok followers so far.

While speaking to E! News, a spokesperson for Heard reacted to Depp's message on TikTok about moving forward and said, as he's 'moving forward,' women's rights are moving backward.'

'The verdict's message to victims of domestic violence is...be afraid to stand up and speak out,' the spokesperson further added.

Johnny Depp is currently accompanying his guitarist friend Jeff Beck on his UK tour. As per a BBC report, the duo will be releasing a new album in July.

Beck reportedly shared the news during one of his performances while talking about his friendship with Depp.

'We actually made an album. I don’t know how it happened. It will be out in July,' he was quoted as saying.

A Virginia court ruled in favour of Depp in his libel lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard on June 1.
