Johnny Depp celebrates trial win with lavish Indian feast in England 

After winning the highly-publicised defamation trial against his former wife Amber Heard, Johnny Depp enjoyed a lavish celebratory dinner with his friends in Birmingham, England, on Sunday (June 5). The actor reportedly spent over $62,000 at Varanasi restaurant by indulging in authentic Indian cuisine, cocktails and rosé Champagne. He also happily posed for photographs with the staff.

The pictures of the actor were shared on the official Instagram page of the restaurant, captioned, 'The most talked about person on the planet now joined us for dinner last night! We had the greatest of pleasure to be in the presence of Johnny Depp @johnnydepp and Jeff Becks.'

The operations manager at Varanasi, Mo Hussain, told the Press Association that the actor's security staff had checked out the venue on Sunday and booked the entire restaurant for the evening.

Depp and his musician friend Beck were accompanied by their tour crew.

'He was very humble and he stayed to talk and greet everyone,' Mr Hussain told Press Association. He further added that actor spent a lot of money and left a 'large tip.'

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor has been in England post the defamation trial, accompanying his musician friend Jeff Beck on his UK tour. Depp has even appeared onstage at the guitarist’s shows.

A jury ruled in favour of Depp in his libel lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard on June 1.
