‘Harry and Meghan’ trailer: Ex-royals reveal how stories were planted against them, call it ‘a dirty game

The trailer of the Netflix docu-series ‘Harry and Meghan’ was released on Monday. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, open up about what led them to walk away from the palace life and the rest of the royal family.

In the trailer, Harry reveals that several stories were planted against them and called it ‘a dirty game.’ He also referred to the 'feeding frenzy' the women who marry into the royal family are subjected to.

Megan then adds that she eventually realised that the royal family was ‘never gonna protect’ her. They said things changed drastically for them after marriage and there were many unhappy moments.

Harry is also heard saying that he was terrified and did not want history to repeat itself.

For the unversed, his mother Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris in 1997 after being chased by paparazzi.

The trailer ends with Harry saying, ‘No one knows the full truth. We know the full truth.’

The first three episodes of the Liz Garbus-directed series will release on December 8 and the final three episodes will come out on December 15.
