‘RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ wins at the 95th Academy Awards: Jr NTR and Ram Charan express their joy

India is cheering for team ‘RRR’ as its song ‘Naatu Naatu’ won at the 95th Academy Awards. Soon after the win, the lead stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR expressed their joy.

In an interview, Jr NTR said that this was ‘not just our win, it’s the whole country’s win.’ He also shared that it was a ‘very emotional moment’ and appreciated the live performance of the dance number. He said, ‘These guys were amazing. All the moves were basically all Indian but the way they pulled it off, it was amazing.’

Tarak also shared a post on social media where he posed with the Oscar statuette. He wrote, ‘And we did it… #Oscars95 #NaatuNaatu #RRRMovie. Congratulations @mmkeeravaani Sir ji, Jakkanna @ssrajamouli, @boselyricist garu, the entire team and the nation ’.

Ram Charan penned a long note thanking the team of ‘RRR’. ‘We have won!! We have won as Indian Cinema!! We won as a country!! The Oscar Award is coming home! It feels amazing. It’s not just our win, it’s the whole country’s win.’ He also thanked SS Rajamouli, MM Keeravani, Chandrabose, Rahul Sipligunj, Kaala Bhairava, Prem Rakshith along with his co-stars Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt.

He concluded his note by saying, ‘I can’t thank everyone enough for manifesting the Oscar Award. It still feels like I am living in a dream. This award belongs to every Indian actor, technician, and filmgoer. My heartfelt thanks to all the fans across the world for all the love and support. This is our country’s win!’
