Kareena Kapoor to star in Geetu Mohandas' 'Toxic' opposite Yash: report

If reports are to be believed, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan might be making her south debut soon. There are reports that Kareena Kapoor will be seen in South superstar Yash’s next film, titled ‘Toxic’. According to India Today, Yash and the makers wanted a name for ‘Toxic’ to make the project bigger. If all goes well, this will also be Kareena's first film opposite Yash.

Yash announced his new film, titled 'Toxic’ in a social media post. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 10, 2025. The actor shared a video on Instagram announcing the title of the film and wrote, "'What you seek is seeking you' - Rumi A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups #TOXIC." In the video, the actor is seen wearing a hat and with a cigar in his mouth.

The film will be produced by KVN Productions. There are reports that Yash had embarked on pre-production work for 'Toxic' in London back in September.

Kareena was last seen in ‘Jaane Jaan’. She will be seen in Rhea Kapoor’s ‘The Crew’. She also has ‘Singham Again’ in pipeline.
