Jacqueline Fernandez’s designer Leepakshi to be questioned in ₹ 200 crore scam

Delhi Police’s Economic Offences Wing has summoned actor Jacqueline Fernandez’s designer Leepakshi after questioning the actor for 15 hours over two days. The probe agency is investigating a ₹ 200-crore money laundering case linked to conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

Jacqueline had appeared before the EOW for the second time on September 19 and police had summoned Leepakshi on the same day. However, she skipped questioning citing health reasons, and was given time for Wednesday.

The Enforcement Directorate filed a charge sheet naming Jacqueline as an accused in a multi-crore extortion case on August 17. According to the agency, she and actor Nora Fatehi received expensive gifts from Chandrashekar.

According to the charge sheet, Jacqueline admitted that she received five watches, 20 pieces of jewellery, 65 pairs of shoes, 47 dresses, 32 bags, 4 Hermes bags, nine paintings, and one Versace crockery set as gifts from the conman.

She is the only accused named in a supplementary charge sheet.

Jacqueline has claimed that she is a victim of a larger criminal conspiracy and that she was cheated.

sukesh chandrashekhar, who is currently lodged in Delhi’s Tihar jail, is accused of extorting crores from businessmen, politicians, and celebrities.
