Sukesh Chandrashekhar fraud case: Nora Fatehi says ‘I’m a victim, not conspirator'; more details here

Sukesh Chandrashekhar fraud case : Actor Nora Fatehi was questioned by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Delhi Police for over five hours on Thursday. During the questioning, she claimed that she was a ‘victim of the conspiracy and not a conspirator’. She also presented the screenshots of her chats with Sukesh as proof to the police.

Delhi Police also quizzed Nora about who had invited her to the charity event in Tamil Nadu. To this, she named Afsar Zaidi, the promoter of Exceed Entertainment Private Limited, and said that the event was arranged by Super Car Artistry.

When asked about who paid for her travel and other expenses, she named Leena Paul, to the ‘best of her knowledge’, and stated that she owns Nail Artistry.

Nora claimed that she was gifted BMW5 Series Car as a ‘token of love and generosity’ and she initially declined. She informed the officers that she met Leena at an event and she was gifted a Gucci bag & an iPhone by her.

Jacqueline Fernandez had appeared before the Economic Offences Wing in the case on Wednesday, where she was confronted with Pinky Irani, who had apparently introduced her to Sukesh. According to ANI report, Jacqueline and Pinki engaged in a war of words during the interrogation. The report further stated that Jaqueline was so convinced and influenced by Sukesh that she would call him the ‘man of her dreams’ and was thinking of marrying him.

Special Commissioner of Police (EOW) Ravinder Yadav told ANI that there is more trouble for Jaqueline as she did not end her relationship with Sukesh even after knowing his criminal antecedents. However, Nora did cut ties with him once she suspected that something was fishy.

Nora Fatehi is likely to turn witness in the case.
