Bollywood celebrities took to social media to celebrate India's win against Pakistan in T20 World Cup match and congratulate team India.

On June 9, it was a special day for the cricket fans as India played against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup match. All the Indian cricket team supporters held their breath when India lost some initial wickets, only to celebrate the victory at the end. Bollywood celebrities also joined in the celebration and congratulated team India on social media.

Bollywood celebs congratulate Indian cricket team

Amitabh Bachchan took to X and expressed his excitement as he was watching the match. Big B wrote that he switched off the television as India seemed to be losing, however, he was taken by surprise when he saw that India has won on Internet.

Varun Dhawan, who has recently welcomed a baby girl, posted a picture of India’s winning moment on his Instagram. Lauding the team, he wrote, “What a match what a performance team India! Jai Hind!”

Actor Siddharth Malhotra also shared a picture of Indian team and congratulated them for the triumphant win. Vijay Verma celebrated with his friends, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sunny Hinduja, Prabhat Raghunandan, Jaswant Dalal, and posted on social media. Bobby Deol gave a glimpse of how he was cheering for the team. Kartik Aaryan also took to Instagram and wrote, “Champion Banega team India. What a win!!”

Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor, who were often seen at the IPL matches, joined in congratulating team India.

About India’s win against Pak

India Vs Pakistan was nothing less than a rollercoaster ride. The suspense went onto the last over in the nail-biting match. India set a target of 119 runs after losing some crucial wickets early on, however, the ballers successfully defended the target and stopped Pak at 113.
