Glimpse into ‘Maidaan’: Ajay Devgn drops video from the film ahead of trailer release

Ajay Devgn has an action-packed calendar year ahead. One of his films ‘Shaitaan’ where he will be seen with Jyothika and R Madhavan is set to release on March 8 while his other film ‘Maidaan’ will be released in April. The ‘Drishyam’ actor has shared a video, teasing the story of his upcoming film ahead of the trailer release.

Ajay Devgn teases ‘Maidaan’

Building up the excitement, Ajay shared a glimpse into the film based on football. Taking to his Instagram, the actor shared a video from the film and wrote, “Witness an extraordinary story of a man, a team, a nation, and the unwavering belief that left an indelible mark on the history of Football!” The teaser of the film will be unveiled tomorrow.

The video shows some children playing football in the streets. As Ajay Devgn gets hold of the ball, he kicks it back to the children despite an oncoming tram blocking his way, leaving the children in awe of his skills.

Earlier on March 6, Ajay Devgn unveiled the poster of the film, announcing the trailer release on March 7. The poster shows Ajay in the role of coach with his team and Indian flag flying high in the backdrop.

About ‘Maidaan’

The biopic sports drama is based on the life of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. Besides Ajay Devgn, the film also stars Priyamani and Gajraj Rao in significant roles. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla, ‘Maidaan’ will hit the theatres on Eid next month.
