Megastar Dhanush, who made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with ‘Raanjhanaa’, has announced his next Hindi film with director Aanand L Rai, titled ‘Tere Ishk Mein’.

The film was announced with a video in which Dhanush speaks as his character from the ‘Raanjhanaa’, Shankar. The clip shows Dhanush running in dark alleys with a Molotov cocktail in his hand. At the end of his monologue, he says, ‘Pichli baar toh Kundan tha, maan gaya. Par iss baar Shankar ko kaise rokoge? (Last time it was Kundan, he agreed. But how will you stop Shankar this time?)’

‘Tere Ishk Mein’s music has been composed by AR Rahman. The film has been written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav. Himanshu is also the producer of the film. The remaining cast members of the film are yet to be announced.

After appearing in ‘Raanjhanaa’, Dhanush worked in Hindi films like ‘Shamitabh’ and ‘Atrangi Re’.
‘Atrangi Re’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, was directly released on a streaming platform.

In an earlier chat with Indian Express, during the promotion of ‘Atrangi Re’, Dhanush spoke about collaborating with Himanshu and Aanand and said, ‘When there is Himanshu, I know there is something weird.

It is that weirdness that is going to make all the difference, it is no fun otherwise. This unpredictable quality about Aanand Rai and Himanshu is what makes their stories so different.” At the time he said that he would be doing more Hindi films.’
