Cannes 2022: Aditi Rao Hydari makes her Cannes debut

Aditi Rao Hydari marked her Cannes debut in a white saree, accessorized with an emerald-diamond choker by ace designer Sabyasachi. The actor is attending the 75th edition of the film festival as a representative of the smartphone brand Vivo India.

The 'Padmaavat' actor and the designer took to their respective Instagram handles to share the pictures of the same. Sabyasachi's official page revealed the details of the saree and jewellery in the post, captioned: 'Aditi Rao Hydari at the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival in Sabyasachi clothing and jewellery. Featuring a hand dyed and embroidered ivory organza sari. Paired with an emerald and diamond choker from Sabyasachi Jewellery’s Bengal Royale Collection.’

At the same time, the actor’s Instagram post read: ‘My ammaamma would be proud. Simplicity and tradition in my favourite @sabyasachiofficial’
Deepika Padukone, who is a Cannes jury member, had worn a Sabyasachi saree at the opening ceremony of the festival.

Aditi also shared a few pictures of herself from French Riveria ahead of the red carpet appearance. She was seen posing a monochrome ensemble from clothing brand ANИAKIKI. This year, Cannes is celebrating India as the ‘Country of Honour’ and numerous Indian stars have descended at the festival.

Some of the attendees include Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Pooja Hegde, Hina Khan, R Madhavan and Helly Shah.
