‘Brahmastra’: ‘The film is sensational at the box office’; says Trade analyst

‘Brahmastra', starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, released on Friday (Sept 9). It had a ‘massive box office collection’ on day 1 at the box office as reported by Ramesh Bala, Trade Analyst. The film collected approximately ₹ 32.5 crores at the box office on its opening day. And it made ₹ 38.5 on day two.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the figures of ‘Brahmastra's box office numbers. He tweeted, ‘Brahmāstra is SENSATIONAL at the #BO... #Hindi version... #Nett BOC... The film is reportedly made on a lavish budget of around ₹300 crores, and it released in 5 different languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Director Ayan Mukerji is overwhelmed by the film’s Box office collection. He took to Instagram and thanked the audience for all the love.
Sharing the box office numbers, he wrote, ‘Brahmastra 2-Days Box Office There is no Brahmastra greater than love in this world. Thank you to all our audiences, for spreading Love and Light in Cinemas this weekend!’

'Brahmastra: Part 1- Shiva’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the film.
