Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji gave a surprise visit to the audience at a theatre screening ‘Brahmastra’. Alia Bhatt shared pictures of Ranbir interacting with fans along with a caption.

‘Brahmastra’, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, has reportedly become the first Bollywood movie to top the worldwide box office charts. Ranbir along with director Ayan Mukerji paid a surprise visit to a theatre in Juhu, Mumbai, on Sunday night, sending fans into a frenzy. He thanked the audience for coming to theatres to see the film and praised Ayan for his dedication towards making the film.

The ‘Shamshera’ actor interacted with several fans and posed for pictures with them. He also shared his excitement for the love showered on them within two days of their film’s release and said, ‘The love we are getting from the audience, there is no bigger Brahmastra for us than that.’

Ranbir Kapoor also applauded Ayan and said, ‘I am extremely happy and proud of this man standing here next to me. He has worked with a lot of dedication, hard work, and love. And this is the best feeling. He further went on and said, “We all have come back to the cinemas. We loved seeing the emotions here. We feel loved, entertained. People are laughing, clapping. This is what cinemas is all about.’

Alia, who could not join the actor, shared pictures from his visit on Instagram and wrote, ‘Pyaar se bada aur koi Astra nahin hai is duniya mein (there is no bigger weapon than love in this world).’

Brahmastra’ released in theatres on September 9 and recorded a tremendous opening day collection. Shah Rukh Khan makes a cameo appearance in the movie as Vanar Astra and Deepika Padukone as Jal Astra.
