‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’: Kartik Aaryan's character Rooh Baba gets a comic book avatar

Actor Kartik Aaryan won several hearts as he portrayed the role of Ruhan aka Rooh Baba in his first horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’. The film is one of the biggest Hindi film openers of 2022. Now, the actor is making his debut in the comic book universe with Diamond Comics, a leading publishing house in India.

Taking to his social media, Kartik unveiled the poster of the comic book 'Rooh Baba ki Bhool Bhulaiyaa' and wrote, ‘Rooh Baba aur unki kahaniyan ab aa gayi hai comics ki Bhool Bhulaiyaa mein. This one is for all my lil fans.’

Soon after he shared the post, fans poured in their love in the comment section. One user wrote, ‘You literally are a Superstar. Thank you for this!’, while another commented, ‘he’s is sooooooo amazing...loving it already!!’

For the unversed, Diamond Comics is the name behind iconic characters like Chacha Chaudhary, Billo, and Pinki among others.

Earlier, a source told Pinkvilla, ‘Kartik is immensely popular in the kids and this move will just bring him closer to this section of the audience. The comic book will be released by Diamond Comics, the largest distributor and publisher of comics in India. The idea to spin Rooh Baba into a comic avatar was taken seeing the popularity of the character in the kids’.

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has several projects in the pipeline, such as ‘Shehzada’ co-starring Kriti Sanon and ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ along with Kiara Advani.
