Filmfare Awards 2022: Ranveer Singh receives award from wife Deepika Padukone, talks about their new home

Filmfare Awards 2022 : The 67th Filmfare Awards ceremony was held on Tuesday night (August 30) with several Bollywood celebrities in attendance. Ranveer Singh, who was the host of the award show, also bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his film '83’. The award was presented to him by none other than his wife-actor and the film’s co-producer Deepika Padukone. The couple was all smiles at the event and Ranveer also gave Deepika a hug and a kiss on the cheek. After receiving the award, the 'Simmba' actor joked, ‘Ranveer Singh powered by Deepika Padukone.’

While hosting the event, Ranveer also talked about purchasing a property in Bandra, which is next to Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat. He revealed that Deepika has hired an interior designer from Bengaluru to decorate their house.

The duo has reportedly bought a house worth Rs 119 crore.

'I finally bought my own place after 12 years. Deepika has hired an interior designer from Bengaluru to decorate the place. It’s been 10 years of us being together,' Ranveer said.

Earlier, the actor engaged the audience with an energetic performance, a video of which is going viral on social media. In the clip, he is seen grooving to ‘Khalibali’ from his 2018 film ‘Padmaavat’, which co-starred his wife Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor, and Jim Sarbh.
