Anupam Kher shares selfie with Kartik Aaryan, calls it a picture of 'superstars'

Anupam Kher took to his Instagram on Wednesday and shared a selfie with Kartik Aaryan. He met the 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' actor at David Dhawan's birthday party, which was held at the filmmaker's residence in Mumbai on Tuesday night. Sharing the selfie, Anupam referred to Kartik and himself as 'superstars' for delivering hit movies at the box office this year. Their films Kashmir Files’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ earned ₹350 crores and ₹250 crores at the box office, respectively.

‘SUPERSTARS: Since the criteria of calling an actor (however good he/she is) a #SuperStar depends on the money their movies make, I am sharing with you all a pic of two SUPERSTARS. At least this year for me! My film #KashmirFiles made 350crores worldwide and @kartikaaryan's #BhoolBhulaiyaa2 earned close to 250 crores,’ he wrote.

‘Time is changing and so is the audience's taste and the system. Who had ever imagined that a day will come, when my film like #KashmirFiles in the lead will do business of 350cr. It is a good churning! I welcome the change. Hope you all do too!’, he added.

He further mentioned that it was a pleasure to meet Kartik, who is going to be a part of the industry for a long long time as an actor and a superstar.
‘It was such a pleasure to meet #Kartik recently! He is going to be here for a long long time. Both, as an actor and a superstar.I have been in this industry for over 40 years and I am here to stay for many more years and compete with young actors like Kartik Aaryan,’ he concluded.

Kartik Aryan was quick to respond to his appreciation post, He thanked him and called him his inspiration.

Kartik Aryan, who is currently basking in the success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 ’, will be next seen in ‘Shehzada’.
