<p>Urvashi Rautela looked stunning as she took over the ramp in a traditional Manipuri bridal dress known as potloi.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Potloi is deeply intertwined with the heritage and cultural fabric of Manipur. In Manipur, the Meitei community bride wears this dress on her wedding day. The Potloi costume is made from bamboo and cloth to take a cylindrical shape. The dress is prepared only a few hours before the bride wears it.</p>

<p>Actor Urvashi Rautela recently announced that she will be playing the role of Parveen Babi in her next film. Now, in an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, writer Dhiraj Mishra has confirmed that the actor is indeed on board for the Parveen Babi biopic.</p>
<p>He said, &lsquo;We started working on the screenplay of this film around two years ago. Wasim Khan, who is also the producer of the film, had suggested to me this idea to work on because I have worked on many biopics before. He felt that I'd be able to do better research for this film.&rsquo;</p>
<p>&lsquo;For the film, I spoke to BR Ishara, who introduced Praveen Babi to the industry. He told me a lot about Praveen Babi. I was also in touch with a lot of her relatives. In the process, my first draft was ready, but during that time Ranjish Hi Sahi (Voot series) was out. So, we took a backseat. However, when I watched the series, it looked like it was more about Mahesh Bhatt than Parveen Babi. So, we again began our work on the film and started looking for our lead actress. We were considering names like Sonakshi Sinha and Shraddha Kapoor but for some or the other reason things could not work out,&rsquo; he added.</p>
<p>He shared that he saw Urvashi Rautela performing on &lsquo;Jawani Teri Bijli Ki Taar Hai&rsquo;, a music video and suggested to the producer to consider her for the role of Parveen Babi.</p>

<p>As the rumours spread that Urvashi Rautela was joining the cast of Rishab Shetty's 'Kantara 2', now the source close to the production house has refuted the claims.</p>

<p>Actor Urvashi Rautela is not a part of Rishab Shetty's Kannada film, 'Kantara 2'. A source close to the production house, Hombale Films told Hindustan Times, 'All the rumours around Urvashi Rautela cast in Kantara 2 are totally baseless and untrue.'</p>
<p>The source added, 'Recently, Urvashi Rautela just happened to be on the same premises as Rishab Shetty, where she requested to meet the Kantara fame and he politely obliged. She posted the picture clicked with him with a cryptic caption, giving rise to these completely false rumours.'</p>
<p>Earlier, Urvashi Rutela shared a picture with Rishab Shetty on her Instagram and captioned her post, 'Kantara 2 loading' after this, the rumours of her being part of the film have taken the internet by storm.</p>

<p>Days after actor Urvashi Rautela shared a cryptic post from outside the &nbsp;hospital in Mumbai where cricketer Rishabh Pant is admitted, her mother Meera Rautela has shared a picture of the hospital building mentioning &lsquo;Everything is all right.&rsquo;</p>
<p>Meera wrote, &lsquo;Every thing is all right don't worry beta @urvashirautela.&rsquo; She also shared her picture outside a temple in the post.</p>
<p>The picture has been clicked outside the emergency ward of the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital.</p>
<p>Rishabh Pant suffered serious injuries in a car accident on new year&rsquo;s eve. He was admitted to a hospital in Dehradun and later shifted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.</p>
<p>Urvashi was rumoured to be dating the crickter. She has many a times shared cryptic posts on love hinting towards Rishabh Pant. Though, the cricketer denies there is any relationship between the two.</p>

<p>Actor Urvashi Rautela again made headlines after she posted a photograph of Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute where cricketer Risabh Pant is admitted.</p>
<p>On Thursday, Urvashi took to her Instagram Stories and shared a black and white photo of the hospital. The image was shared without any caption. Rishabh, who was involved in a car accident recently was airlifted from Dehradun and shifted to the hospital.</p>
<p>Urvashi Rautela and Rishabh Pant have regularly been in the news because of their comments and posts which people believe are aimed at each other. Urvashi has been sharing cryptic posts on social media since the cricketer met with an accident.</p>
<p>She had shared a picture of herself in a white attire, captioned &lsquo;Praying&rsquo; after Rishabh's accident.</p>
<p>Rishabh Pant's car accident occurred on December 30 when he was driving from Delhi to his hometown Rourkee, and lost control on the NH-58 highway before hitting the divider.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Actor Urvashi Rautela, who was massively trolled in the last few months over rumours of her dating Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, has now opened up about the whole episode. In an exclusive chat with Hindustan Times, she said that she had no idea people would misinterpret things. Rautela clarified that RP is her co-actor and stands for Ram Pothineni. She said she was not even aware that Rishabh Pant is also known as RP.</p>
<p>The actor said that people just assume stuff and write about it. &lsquo;And to those believing in such rumours, I&rsquo;d say they need to analyse a little. If you haven&rsquo;t seen anything, or just because some Youtuber or for that matter anyone is saying something, how can you simply believe it?&rsquo; she asks.</p>
<p>There were several jokes cracked and memes made about Rautela stalking Rishabh Pant and following him to Australia, where he was to play the World Cup. Later, she clarified that she was not even in the same city by sharing pictures from the trip. &lsquo;No one cares about me or supports me,&rsquo; she had written.</p>

I myself have done that so many times. But I don&rsquo;t like these silly comparisons.&rsquo;</p>
<p>When asked why she chose to stay mum for so long and never come out in the open to address the entire controversy, Rautela stated that she&rsquo;s a very reserved person and doesn&rsquo;t care much about what people say.</p>
<p>She said trolling has become a way of life and everybody becomes a target of it, including the Prime Minister. She believes, in life, there are way more important things to be stressing about and so she prefers to focus on work and worry about what to do on the professional front.</p>

Urvashi wrote, &lsquo;Just want to make it clear again regarding my I love you video circulating these days...that it was only from acting perspective and was a dialogue scene not directed towards anyone or from any video call (folded hands emoji).&rsquo;</p>
<p>Recently, a short clip of the actor has been doing the rounds on the internet. She recorded her video saying, &lsquo;Aap bolo I love you. Nahi pehle aap bolo I love you. I love you boldo bas ek baar boldo, ek baar boldo. I love you. Phir hug aur kiss karo, okay (You say I love you. No first you say. Just say it once. Then a hug and kiss, okay)?&rsquo;</p>
