Cannes 2024: Urvashi Rautela turns heads in hot-pink gown at the red carpet | Watch

Actor Urvashi Rautela, a regular attendee of the Cannes Film Festival, unveiled her dazzling look on the first day of the red carpet.

Urvashi donned a stunning hot-pink gown with a ruffled tulle shrug from designers Khaled and Marwan. She accessorized her look with diamond bracelets and a bejewelled headband.

Urvashi shared a photo as well as a video from the festival on Wednesday. Her social media caption read, "Festival de Cannes 2024 OPENING CEREMONY with my ultimate fav #MERYLSTREEP

As the actor shared her pictures on social media, netizens flooded the comment section with compliments. However, some also compared her look to Deepika Padukone's 2018 Cannes look.

Last year, Urvashi took the internet by storm when she stepped onto the Cannes red carpet wearing her crocodile necklace. After the neckpiece invited a meme fest, Urvashi later shared a short note on social media about the ornament and wrote, "To all members of media, I have sentiments attached with my high-jewelled crocodile masterpiece necklace.

On the other hand, Indian entrepreneur Namita Thapar also slayed on the red carpet in a ruffled, off-shoulder gown.

Namita, part of the judging panel alongside Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, and Peyush Bansal on 'Shark Tank India', shared snapshots from the Cannes Film Festival, captioning it 'Cannes 2024 :)'. She expressed gratitude to her designer, Elio Abou Fayssal, for crafting her attire for the grand event.
