In the statement, Jolie said that she'll continue to do everything in her power to support refugees and other displaced people in the years to come. She added that it was time to 'work differently' by directly engaging with refugees and local organisations.
For the unversed, Angelina Jolie started working with the UN refugee agency in 2001 and was appointed as special envoy in 2012
Fillipo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for refugees, said that he supports Angelina's decision and he's certain that she will bring the same passion and attention to a wider humanitarian portfolio.
Angelina carried out over &nbsp;60 field missions to bear witness to stories of sufferings as well as hope and resilience. She most recently travelled to Burkina Faso.

The Independent reported that Sahar Tabar unveiled her face on Iran TV after being released from jail.
Soon after posting her photos, the 21-year-old&nbsp; was charged with blasphemy and corruption in 2019. Iran authorities had sentenced her to 10 years in jail.
The young lady was reportedly released this month after 14 months of imprisonment amid protests over hijab law.
During her appearance on Iran TV, Tabar admitted to have undergone various cosmetic procedures like nose job and lip fillers but said that her 'zombie photos' were edited.
"What you saw on social media was computer effects I used to create the image," she reportedly told local media.
Tabar also conceded that she always wanted to be famous, and make-up and photo-editing helped her increase her social media popularity.

A place that held the promise of what could be and where I thought I would grow old. Even now impossible to write this without crying. The court document alleges that Brad’s aggressive behaviour started even before the family got to the airport, with him having a confrontation with one of the children. The ‘Bullet Train’ actor was approached by Jolie after the flight took off after which he accused her of being too deferential to the children and verbally attacked her. 
Pitt reportedly ‘pulled’ Angelina into the toilet, grabbed her by the head and shook her. He then grabbed her shoulders and shook her again before pushing her into the bathroom wall.
However, Brad Pitt’s representative has called the new allegations ‘completely untrue’, and said that Angelina’s story continues to evolve each time she tells it with new, unsubstantiated claims. 
FBI got involved when the infamous 2016 flight took place, but Angelina refused to press charges back then. Brad Pitt was granted 50-50 custody of the children after a closed-door trial in which the allegations were aired. 
However, an appeals court later disqualified the private judge for not disclosing possible conflicts of interest after a motion from Angelina, reversing the decision. 
The actors continue to co-parents their kids.

Brad Pitt was reportedly under investigation for child abuse by the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services in 2016 after he allegedly got physical with his son, Maddox, on his family&rsquo;s private plane. His son had reportedly also intervened in a fight between him and Angelina.
Brad Pitt&rsquo;s team denied that he hurt his son and issued a statement to People magazine, saying that Pitt was emphatic that it did not reach the level of physical abuse.
The celebrity couple filed for divorce in 2016, and Pitt publicly gave up drinking.

Brad Pitt was reportedly under investigation for child abuse by the FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services in 2016 after he allegedly got physical with his son, Maddox, on his family&rsquo;s private plane. His son had reportedly also intervened in a fight between him and Angelina.
Brad Pitt&rsquo;s team denied that he hurt his son and issued a statement to People magazine, saying that Pitt was emphatic that it did not reach the level of physical abuse.
