Brad Pitt opens up on dealing with life after separation from Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's ongoing legal battle has been making headlines for quite some time. Recently, Brad Pitt opened up about dealing with life post his separation with actor-former wife Angelina.

As per Fox News, the 'Bullet Train' actor mentioned how his friendship with singer Nick Cave and sculptor Thomas Houseago flourished in the wake of his divorce announcement in 2016.

Brad met Houseago at a New Year’s Eve party and instantly connected. Whereas, he met Cave on the sets of 'Johnny Suede' in 1991.

Speaking with Financial Times about his camaraderie with Houseago, Pitt said, 'Our mutual misery became comic. And out of this misery came a flame of joy in my life. I always wanted to be a sculptor; I’d always wanted to try it.'

He further added 'It’s all about self-reflection. I was looking at my own life and really concentrating on owning my own s—: where was I complicit in failures in my relationships, where have I misstepped,'

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt filed for divorce after a heated altercation during a private plane ride in 2016. Brad allegedly choked one of their children and grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her. The two were also involved in another legal battle over Chateau Miraval winery which they bought in 2008 for about $28.3 million. The ex-couple had a deal to hold onto their stakes in the property, but in a lawsuit Brad claimed that Angelina had sold her portion of their French property.
