Reels are so popular that Instagram wants to merge normal videos into them.&nbsp;

Instagram is testing ways to turn every video posted on its platform into a Reel. The change is being tested with a small group of users around the world right now.
It is part of the company's larger plans to make watching videos on the platform easier for everyone.
Currently, Instagram&rsquo;s video section includes horizontal videos and long-form videos which are up to 60 minutes long.

It remains to be seen how the platform deals with such videos once videos and Reels are merged.
"Video posts are now shared as reels," is the message a handful of users are seeing on the app upon posting a video. Instagram claims that by encouraging all videos to become Reels, engagement will increase, videos will have access to video effects, music may be added, and Reels can be remixed.
This change, however, change is still being examined, and its public release timeline is not known.

The second issue is aerodynamics. External features like the elevators would suffer severe wind resistance. The towers connecting the Sky Cruise to other planes would face the same problem.

Another major problem would be maintenance. Commercial planes currently undergo checks at multiple stages. While 'light' checks for fluid levels etc are done every couple of days, 'heavy' checks with parts and panels being opened are done every couple of years. Since Sky Cruise is meant to stay airborne for many years, maintenance would be a huge challenge.
Finally, putting the plane back on land would be a big task. Special wheels would need to be engineered to be able to withstand the punishment. Special runways would also have to be built.
However, keep in mind that this is all speculation, not a formal project involving engineers and other experts. The Sky Cruise is just a liberal imagining of the future, meant to make us wonder what we might see in the years to come.

Oppo has confirmed the launch of its Reno 8 series in India in the month of July. The series will consist of the standard Reno 8 and the Reno 8 Pro.
The phones will come equipped with Oppo&rsquo;s proprietary Marisilicon X NPU chip for better imaging.
As per Oppo, this chip took three years to make and has 400 patents. It has got 3.6 billion transistors and can do up to 18 trillion things per second (18 TOPS).
MariSilicon X was made by Oppo with a 6nm chip architecture that delivers 11.6 TOPS per watt. This means that even when doing the most demanding tasks, MariSilicon X uses very little power.

Under the new regulations, India requires VPN service providers, data centres, and cloud service providers to store customer information for five years, including names, email addresses, and IP addresses.

If you are using an old iPhone you may soon not be able to access Whatsapp! iPhone users operating on an older iOS are rushing for an update as Apple notified it's users to "Update to the latest version of iOS to continue using WhatsApp." This update notification is meant for those users running iOS 10 and iOS 11, however this update may require an upgrade of the iPhone for some. iPhone users still supporting the iPhone5 or iPhone 5C will now have to think of an upgrade as these models will not support an iOS upgrade required to run Whatsapp. Apple warned that WhatsApp will stop supporting this version of iOS after 24 Oct 2022.” It then advises: “Please go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update to get the latest iOS version."

It remains to be seen how the resurrected Redmi K-series is positioned in India in 2022 since its sister brand Poco is already re-branding and selling the Redmi K40S as the Poco F4.

According to new reports, the AirPods Pro 2 will include a USB Type-C port for charging instead of Apple&rsquo;s own proprietary Lightning port.
The earbuds may also come with a new System-in-Package for the H1 chip which will enable enhanced adaptive noise cancellation, equalisation, spatial audio, and audio sharing.
It is also rumoured that the AirPods Pro 2 may support lossless audio, which makes sense as Apple Music already has this feature.
Apple's adoption of the USB-C connector has been a hot topic among tech fans for quite some time. The USB-C connector would also allow the earbuds to charge quickly.&nbsp;
Another rumour suggests that Apple is shortening or removing the stem from the AirPods Pro 2 altogether. The exterior is expected to remain white plastic with replaceable rubber tips. The charging case's design may also be altered slightly.
The AirPods Pro 2 will likely debut along with iPhone 14 series in September.

At a starting price of Rs 12,000, the Galaxy F13 competes in a space with intense rivalry from other brands.&nbsp;
The F13 also appears to be remarkably similar to the Galaxy A13 that&rsquo;s already on sale in India. So, can it do something to set itself apart in this crowded space?
<h3>Design</h3>
The F13 is unmistakably Samsung as it follows the brand&rsquo;s ongoing design language that&rsquo;s also seen on the A-series and M-series of smartphones. The rear panel of the F13, however, has a nice texture to it which does help with the grip.
It is completely made of plastic and is a pretty chunky device to hold, but that&rsquo;s due to its large battery. More on that later.
At the front, this looks like a typical budget phone with a dewdrop notch and a thick chin.
<h3>Utility</h3>
The side-mounted fingerprint scanner on this phone was pretty quick to unlock both with my right thumb as well as my left index finger. However, it will refuse to work with sweaty fingers, so you have to ensure that your fingers are completely dry.
The single bottom firing speaker on the phone is quite loud with decent audio quality. The F13 also comes with a headphone jack.&nbsp;
It's a dual sim smartphone with a dedicated micro SD card slot as well.
<h3>Display</h3>
The F13 has a 6.6-inch LCD display with full HD resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Its predecessor, the <a href="https://www.editorji.com/story/samsung-galaxy-f12-hands-on-first-impressions-budget-banger-at-10-999-1617713486011" target="_blank">F12</a>, had a 90Hz display but its resolution was only HD.
I believe that trading a higher refresh rate for better resolution is totally worth it at this price point as it makes consuming content a much better experience.

The display itself has pretty good colours and viewing angles, but its peak brightness is rather underwhelming as I did struggle to view it on Delhi&rsquo;s bright summer afternoons.&nbsp;
Also worth mentioning is that the auto brightness sensor, at least on my test unit, was pretty slow to respond to ambient light. Hope this can be fixed with a software update
<h3>Performance &amp; Software</h3>
The device is powered by Samsung&rsquo;s octa-core Exynos 850 chipset and comes with only a 4GB RAM option and up to 128GB storage.&nbsp;
The Exynos 850 is an entry-level chipset from 2020 and it gets easily outperformed by most SoCs found on similarly priced phones.&nbsp;
For instance, the <a href="https://www.editorji.com/tech-news/gadget-review/realme-narzo-50a-review-50mp-triple-camera-helio-g85-on-a-budget-1633609244532" target="_blank">Realme Narzo 50A</a> comes with a Helio G85 chip, while the <a href="https://www.editorji.com/tech-news/mobiles/poco-m4-pro-5g-smartphone-launched-in-india-check-price-specs-1644916943985" target="_blank">Poco M4</a> has a Dimensity 700... But this doesn't mean that the Exynos 850 is a poor performer.&nbsp;
It handles occasional gaming just fine and I didn't witness any major lags, although micro stutters were prominent from time to time when interacting with the UI.
It's also worth noting that the chipset does not support 5G which means it's not as future-proof as it should be.&nbsp;
On the software front, you get Android 12 with OneUI 4.1 on top. There are a bunch of pre-installed apps but that&rsquo;s not an issue since they can be uninstalled. You also do not get any ads baked into the UI.&nbsp;
Samsung is also promising 2 major software updates and two years of security updates on this phone.
<h3>Cameras</h3>
The F13 features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera. For the price, I found nothing much to complain about when it comes to camera quality. If I must be critical, I would note that the dynamic range is rather limited.
The photos are good enough to be posted on social media. The phone does not have a dedicated night mode, but low-light photos still came out to be quite usable.
There is no form of stabilisation when it comes to videos, but then again, it is acceptable keeping the F13&rsquo;s price in mind.
What&rsquo;s impressive is that while rival brands have started to eliminate the ultra-wide angle camera from their budget phones, Samsung is still offering a 5MP ultra-wide shooter on the F13. &nbsp;As long as there is a good amount of ambient light, this camera will give you usable shots.
The third camera is a 2MP depth sensor that&rsquo;s there just to make up the numbers.
The 8MP selfie camera on the F13 produces decent results, but you have to keep your hand stable as there is no autofocus here.

<h3>Battery Life</h3>
The F13 comes with a large 6,000mAh battery. As a result, it is easily a two-day battery life smartphone if your usage only includes texting, taking calls and scrolling through social media.
If you consume a lot of video content, the device would still easily last you well over a day.
You get a 15W charger inside the F13&rsquo;s box. It takes well over 2 hours to fully recharge, &nbsp;which isn't exactly fast but its great battery life more than makes up for it.
<h3>Verdict</h3>
The Galaxy F13 is a good budget smartphone for those who watch a lot of videos and would like a phone with impressive battery life. Its ad-free UI is also a big plus, so is its onboard ultra-wide angle camera.
While it's not the strongest contender in this segment when it comes to raw performance, it still offers enough value, especially if you are on a tight budget.&nbsp;

From March 2023, BMW will start developing its BMW Operating System 8, an infotainment software based on Google&rsquo;s Android Automotive.&nbsp;
The company now joins other prominent automakers such as Volvo, Honda, General Motors and Ford in announcing the development of Android Automotive-based car infotainment systems.
BMW&rsquo;s current infotainment system is based on Linux.&nbsp;
Android Automotive is a full-fledged operating system for cars that can be built into instrument clusters and infotainment systems. It is not to be confused with Android Auto, which only connects your phone to your car's dashboard.
