WhatsApp beta for Windows introduces group video calls with up to 32 people

WhatsApp has released a new update for its Windows native app, version 2.2324.1.0, through the Microsoft Store beta channel.

The update introduces the ability to create video calls with up to 32 people, which is being tested by some beta users. The feature is expected to be rolled out to more users in the coming days.

Previously, the app supported group video calls for up to 8 people and audio calls for up to 32 people. The update also includes support for video messages and the ability to share screen content during video calls, as mentioned in a previous beta update.

This update follows Mark Zuckerberg's announcement of a desktop app for Windows with faster speeds and improved calling. WhatsApp will continue to add new features that were available in the previous desktop application or planned for future release.

It is worth noting that the update may not be immediately visible to all users in the Microsoft Store, as it will be rolled out gradually.
