iOS 16.6 Beta 4: What's New?

As the era of iOS 17 dawns, Apple has released the fourth beta of iOS 16.6, now available for iPhones and iPads. Despite the ongoing testing of iOS 17, iOS 16.6 Beta 4 promises minor adjustments and fixes, refining the user experience as we delve into the details of this update.

iOS 16 Beta Testing Continues

The test phases of iOS 16 beta builds persist as Apple fine-tunes the next few releases of iOS 16. With the stable version of iOS 17 on the horizon, the temptation to switch is palpable. But beware of potential bugs in the iOS 17 beta. As an iOS 16.6 beta user, it's advised to stick with the familiar ground of this new beta.

Releases for watchOS 9.6 Beta 4, macOS Ventura 13.5 Beta 4, tvOS 16.6 Beta 4, macOS Monterey 12.6.8 RC4, and macOS Big Sur 11.7.9 RC 4 also hit the stands, extending Apple's beta spectrum. Both iOS and iPadOS 16.6 Beta 4, bearing build number 20G5058d, are compact updates, soon to be available for public beta testers.
